[serpington]

"oh, hi." i quickly said standing back up. "i hate to impose but i was wondering if i could stay here tonight........i wont be a bother and i can pay for the night, i just need somewhere warm to stay for the night." expecting the door to slam shut i stood there looking at the slightly shorter tenant and looked away trying to be polite and still hoping for warmth. "if you say no i understand, could you at least lend me a blanket or something?"

[serpington]

"thank you. you don't know how much this means to me." i walked and headed to the bathroom throwing my bag into the spare room on my way. "so whats the rent on a place like this? must be a fair bit." i take my shirt off and hang it on the side of the shower, not quite sure if i should be so quick to do so. (as far as i'm going to know at the moment your a girl...due to the clothes and how tired i am) "do you mind if i have a shower? i have a few changes of clothes in my bag, i just really need warmth at the moment before i freeze to death."

[serpington]

"thanks" i walked out into the loungeroom still shirtless. "yea, i can do that, i just got transfered into the area by my last boss, i now work for his nephue down at the resteront on the corner. infact i start in the morning and just came from getting my gear." i smiled looking around for a cupbourd with some towles in it. "so what kind of job you looking for?"

[serpington]

"yea, he needs a few more waiters and chefs and he pays big. he's not my nephew though. he's my old boss' even though the two of us grew up together. if you wan't you can come with me in the morning and talk to him. with th e two of us working there that rent should be easily paid each month, after all the standard wage is $350 a week." i streached my back while standing back up from my crouched position and walked over and sat down, a towle now over my shoulders. "and what were these 'cirtain crowds' you mentioned?"

[Kaprika]

i come back with three towels, and a blow dryer in paw..this was gonna be a introduction that would have to wait...
"ok..two for you..and one for YOU cause you already have a towel.." i hand out the towels in accordance and walk past them to plug in my dryer in the kitchen.

"if anyone has any need for that.its right there...use it as you like.."
i stand there awquardly for a moment...to be honest ive never had guests like this..i was usualy such a solitary animal. but if these were to be her new roomies...she needed to be brief, polite and welcoming.
"so...if either of you need to change, i got two bathrooms..one on each side of the apartment.." i point to the two rooms where they could do so.

"we can discuss the apartment buisness after were all taken care of...cause hey, nobody likes the smell of wet fur.. "
i glance over to the reptile..
"uh....or............i dont even know WHAT you smell like wet"
i smile warmly and wait for them to make themselves dry and comfortable

[Kodachi Devil]

I begin drying myself off, taking extra time on my bushy tail. After all it is my pride and joy.
"uhm...miss" i say, as sweet as I can. "do you perhaps have any guy clothes I can borrow?"
i do my best to smile. "or...if you have skinny jeans at the least. I dont mind a girly shirt...but..."
i fidget around. "skirts aren't really my thing"
i say, trying to pat my clothes dry just in case she declines my offer.

[Pea]

I stopped removing my pants awkwardly and gave an embarrassed smile at Kaprika.

"S-sorry, I'm-m getting a bit too cold s-so I had to change. Cold blood, you kn-know..."

To Koda I said, "S-sure I'll be your friend! And if you need to b-borrow any guy clothes you can have s-some of mine. M-mind you the tail holes are a bit big in my jeans..." I looked down at my thick, long lizards tail. "You can use the hair dryer, if you want. I've got something I use to keep warm in my pack." I reached into my pack and pulled out a large blanket with a cord drooping down off of it. I plugged it in next to the blow dryer, took my shirt and socks off, and sat down on the towel Kaprika had given me, wrapping up in the blanket which was now starting to get warm.

Normally I would have dried off and changed first, but my blood was getting dangerously cold and it was getting to the point where I could barely move. Drying up was more important.

I said to Kaprika while shivering under the blanket, "Once I g-get a bit warmed up I'll g-go change in the bathroom."

[Kodachi Devil]

I grin happily and spin around to hug lizard.
"thanks so much" I say, forgetting all about my promise to stay turned around.
My tail wags happily and I giggle.
"and dont stutter so much!" i say. "you dont need to be nervous around me!"

[Pea]

Koda took me by surprise, hugging me like that. And it surprised me even more when he said I don't have to be nervous.

"I'm-m not nervous," As I pat him on the back "I'm c-c-cold..."

I don't usually get hugs, especially from guys. So NOW I was a bit nervous, but it didn't show through my constant shivering.

[Kodachi Devil]

"then don't be cold!" I exclaim, covering him in the towels I was given. "get warm, haha!"

[Kaprika]

i watch the spectacle and smile...there getting along well, which was good. happy roomeates make for a good living.

"so...lets formaly introduce ourselves...im Kaprika...and you both are?"

[Pea]

From under my pile of blanket and towels I say, "Chris Lively, Miss. The, umm... Lizard. I don't really know what my species is."

Really I didn't. No one had ever been able to tell me what kind of lizard has spikes, dark green scale and poisonous green stripes...

[Kodachi Devil]

I smile kindly at Kaprika, bowing, and say
"my name is KOdachi, but please call me KOda!"
i giggle a little, before saying "chris said i can borrow some of his clothes...ya got a bathroom around here?"

[Kaprika]

"yeah, i said you could use em anythime"
i point  to both the bathrooms on the opposite sides of the apartment.
"use them as you like, just remember to wipe up the floor when your done so nobody slips later...its nice to meet you both. so tell me a little about how you got here?"

[Kodachi Devil]

I sigh a little, already in the bathroom, stripping down to my undies and grabbing some of the clothes chris offered me.
"well!" i say loud enough for kaprika to hear. "i heard theres a pretty popular comedy club there, and i figured id start my career as a comic here!"
