"really..?"
i bite my lip....that didnt sound promising..
with how much the rent was here i couldnt afford to have a roomeate that made dollars on the hour.....if she really WAS gonna make that her main employment, this wasnt gonna work her being here...these places were NOT cheap..
"uh...that sounds great, anything ELSE you uh...like to do?"
i try to span out...mabey that was just her hobby. and she had something else that she did for a living?

I'm a waiter!" i exlcaim, changing. "and a make a little bit of money with stocks"
after a few moments I step out, comepletely changed into jeans and a regular t-shirt.

(...why does you keep calling me a girl ? )

[Kaprika]

whoops...sorry! ><

"oh stocks..thats different, what are you invested in??"
i sigh in relief...so this was still a possible happening...
i look over to the window where its pouring....geeze it was coming down.

"so you both looking to rent here?..."

[Pea]

It didn't take long for me to warm up enough to start moving around. I start to pat myself down with a towel to get the last bit of water off my scales, then start picking up all my stuff so I can move to the second bathroom. Before I leave the kitchen I wipe up the puddle me and Koda had made. I make my way to the bathroom, saying "Excuse me." to Kaprika as I pass her, and close the bathroom door.

"One second, Kaprika. I'm gonna change then talk in person." I pull out a pair of dry, baggy black jeans and a brown, collared, short sleeve shirt. Once changed into those I put my wet clothes into a second trash bag where all my dirty clothes were put, and packed up everything else I had taken out. Thinking it would be polite not to poke anyone or anything with my claws, I pull on some leather gloves over my hands.

Once my outfit was taken care of I open the door of the bathroom and face Kaprika to talk.

"I just moved here to the city. Got a job as head chef at some Pizzeria a couple blocks over. Never thought of gettin' a place to stay. So yeah, I'm lookin' to rent if that's okay with you...."

[Kodachi Devil]

I grin and name a couple good stocks im involved with (i know nothing of stocks irl o_o).
"and so...yeah!" i say. "and yeah i want to rent here"

[Kaprika]

"well yeah. im lookin for two roomeates to make this place run a LITTLE smoother...im gonna wanna ask you both a few questions to be sure this is gonna work...if thats ok with you?"
i sit down at my diningroom table and lean on my elbows..whenever they finished cleanin up we could sit and chat about buisness details

I nod gently and say "i dont mind any questions at all!"
i walk over to her, smiling

[Pea]

I'm not sure where I should place my things, so I pick them up and take everything over to the table where Koda and Kaprika are sitting.

I sit down in a chair and look over to Kaprika. "Alright then, business. Ask anything ya like and I'll do my best."

[serpington]

"some guys? what are the others gay?" i joke smiling while i drape the towl over my shoulders and back a little more. "so whats it like back where you came from?"

[Kaprika]

"ok...first i need to ask you both some..compatability questions. you know...make sure we have nothing thats gonna make living together unbearable.."

"first..what are your sleeping hours...like do you stay up late..go to bed early or whatnot..."
"do you have friends that you would be inviting over, and if so how many and how often and what times?"
"what are your eating habbits...like how stocked is the kitchen gonna have to be?"
"and is there anything else about you personaly i need to know?"

[serpington]

"it's ok, everyone needs to vent every now and then. well i had better have that shower, i'm sure the last thing you need is me freezing to death in your appartment." i smiled joking. i stand slowly and walk over to the bathroom again. "thanks again for letting me stay here. i really apreciate it." i disapear into the bathroom, forgetting to close the door fully, i finish striping down and hop in the shower. i sit down and just sigh under the hot water.

[Pea]

"Understandable."

I nod my head after she asks the questions, and take a moment to think out my answers.

"I don't usually stay up late unless there's somethin' to do. I don't have too many friends," I frown slightly as I say this "so that probably won't become an issue. I don't eat that much either, having the metabolism of a reptile n' all." I smile and give a quick chuckle after saying this, hoping the answer was a good one. "About a meal a day gets me by, unless I'm bored n' feel like snackin'. N' about me? Hmm, well I keep to myself most of the time but if you like bein' social I can definitely change that!" I end my session of answers with a grin and look hopefully at Kaprika...

[Kaprika]

"well that sounds...affordable"

i smirk, no worries in the kitchen there..
i turn expectantly to my other guest...

"and you..?"

Drake sat in the landlord's office filling out rent applications hoping that his new roommates would be okay.

"well..." i say, thinking. "i go to bed around ten, but stay up till midnight reading. Im very quite in bed."
i blush for a moment, remembering what the last person i said that too said. I shrug it off.
"im not a heavy eater as you can see. I never eat lunch, only breakfast and dinner. And i enjoy cooking."
i smile politely and bow.
"as for friends, i dont have many that id invite over, unless you count the occasional hot chick ill bring over from my shows!" i say this half joking, hoping she wont take me seriously
i havemt showed an interest in the opposite sex in years.
