It's mostly a 4chan meme, a fish with a bait hook, monochrome picture. Used in response to someone posting a response that is guaranteed to cause some sort of problem, so someone calls it "bait" hoping that other people will figure that out before it's too late.


In this case, it became more of a joke of a joke on my part, because I implied that there was inherent "depth" to making such an outlandish attempt in a place where the people enforcing the forum rules, are all participating. It would be insane to do something like that.
