I just bought my first collar over the weekend, and it just arrived at my house today! My tag has not yet come in, but it's just a basic silver one. It is very comfortable and I am glad to finally own one.

It's purple and blue stripes. I was going to get the 1" collar, but I was worried that the circumference would be too large since I have a thin neck, so I decided to go with the medium sized one with a 3/4th" width just to be safe.


Bonus: Me wearing said collar while making weird faces.

I just got this one today! I love it so much, it's so comfortable, from The Collar Shop. I'm about to buy a plain black one for me to wear out without it looking too odd. Collar Shop is very similar to Collar Factory, but they have a few extra colour options at the moment, which is why I went for them.

I am very, very picky about the softness of the clothing I wear, so I couldn't be happier with this.

Real quick, I really like your wide selection of collars but can I ask where you found this one? I am a bit into steampunk and that aged/brass look is really nice.

That one I found at some online pet store I don't remember the name of right now, but the collar is called Topcanis Majo.

I'll admit I felt really nervous almost 'dirty' about putting on my collar for the first time, because, like a derp v_v, I didn't want to be standing around in a pet store looking for collars for myself, so I went and bought one from a bondage shop (as though that is somehow less embarrassing right? Than standing in  pet shop, where everyone would presume I'm buying it for a pet... >_<). I'm kinda glad that I did though, it's very high quality. It's got a soft almost fur on the outside and it's got foam inside, and I'm not too sure what the inner material is called but it's soft and it doesn't get all nasty from sweat. It's velcro which is nice to get a decent size, but it does kinda itch a little. I think it's a little too wide for my liking, and I think it kinda obviously looks like a bondage collar over a pet one so I haven't worn it outside. I live with my boyfriend who felt a little uncomfortable by it, but only because it made him feel like he was treating me like a pet, but he's mostly okay with it now. He laughed a lot when I told him where it was from though v_v

But now, I wear it most of the time, I feel comfortable and more at home with it on and my boyfriend is fine with it

I know what you mean about trying on collars at the pet store but once I did  it a few times, it didn't really seem like a big deal. But it sounds like the one you got at the sex shop might be a bit more comfortable then regular pet ones are on average. And I gotta agree that wearing a collar around the house is just plain fun.

Got a new collar the other day ^^ (Also got a doggie beefstick because close to christmas xD)
It's a bit different from my other ones, but it's already become one of my favs. I've always had issues with spiky collars before, but it seems like the trick to finding one that feels durable and that won't break as soon as you look at it is to get it from a pet store xP

I accidentally wore my collar to work... It at least matched my uniform perfectly but my boss was upset

I personally wear a collar to help me feel more comfortable in my own skin (yes I have species dysphoria). Unfortunately I lost my last collar.

dont have mine juust yet ( in the process of getting funds up for it and a matching ring altho not the same colors to a point) but it will be a gift to my mate and it will match saphs colors
