Collar as part of everyday wardrobe
« Reply #555 on: May 06, 2015, 09:57:06 AM »
I recently thought about wearing a collar as a part of my everyday clothing, to be publicly recognisable as furry/otaku.
What do you think of it?

Just to be clear, I'm new to this kind of things and I don't know how others might react to this.

I tend to do that and have never had any issues with people reacting badly to it.
Could ofc be it's because I'm female tho.

How sweet would it be if everyone wore collars with their names on it, and then i wouldn't forget peoples' names on a daily basis...

But yeah i luv the way they look and would wear one (if i had one) in public if i wasn't so self-conscious.

Four of my collars. The bottom-left one I don't think I've shown before, but it's a green LED-collar. The middle thing on the bottom row is a normal necklace a furry friend gave me for christmas/my birthday. It's got a small C on it, and it keeps confusing people xD

:-(

I would sleep in a collar, if I wasn't so sweaty while sleeping.

I used to have a collar, but my mom saw me wear it while I was walking with some friends out in public. The next day I couldn't find it anywhere, and ever since she has said nothing about it, even when I ask  :(  Luckily I have a part time job now, so I can buy a much better one from the Collarfactory (which, I HIGHLY recommend btw. my friend got one from there and he never takes the dang thing off  XD )
May luck be with you.

I dunno, if it's because I got used to it, but whenever I take my collar off I fell kind of weird and naked. :S

I sometimes find myself feeling like that if I've been wearing one for a longer time too.

I'll probably get one because why not.

Cheaper than  a suit. Or just a tail and ears

About to get a new, leather one. Black outside with purple inside. I'm just waiting for my bank to finish transaction to my PayPal account so I can pay.
And the damn shipping costs 26,5 US bucks. A lot.

I want to make mine, not really a color like a cat or dogs or whatever furry like collars. I should draw it but it's from a facility so it would look somewhat futuristic ^^ I'm thinking of commissioning or making it
