If you would pick your fursona, you will be hunted like Puncia said.
If you would pick a million, you will live your life full of regret because you wasted your only chance to become your fursona.

So for me, I will leave my vote blank, and hope I will never get to choose.

as I think about it, if you become your fursona, you will go down in history.

if you take the million of dollars, you are a millionaire and not go down in history

yeah...if you were found out, then its likely that the government would take custody of you and youd never really get to enjoy being your fursona. you would be deemed dangerous the FIRST time you growled at anyone and put away.
your body studied to see "what made you" and investigated to see if they cant recreate the phenomonon that made you.

Who says you won't go down in history with a million extra in your pocket? It entirely depends on what you use that money for.

And "going down into history" is overrated anyway. I'd rather live a happy life and die contempt.

For one, even if a good bit of imagination is needed to make it all even plausible, it was never stated that the world around us also had changed.
Secondly, who says we're not having fun? For once I got to use my brain a little while typing out an answer in this forum and for that I am thankful. I had tons of fun!

So I will throw the statement back to you again, in a friendly matter, of course.

Hmmm... I'm a bit of a realist so... the money.

If I could be my fursona and have money on the other hand... it wouldn't make a difference, because I would be a freak, and I'm already a government employee, so I would be nabbed immediately . Sure my outward appearance would reflect my inward one, and it wouldn't change me much, but I would be a spectacle. And while I do want to go down in history, its not like that, and its only to the people that matter to me.

If the change were gradual, it would change a surprising amount of things, and would be better, especially if there were others, but it would turn into an X-men-like fiasco, except we would not have cool powers and no leverage, so we would be discriminated against. And while I like a cause to fight for, it would be hopeless.

This has turned into a serious answer to a seemingly lighthearted thread... but whatevs

Oh god, what is worse than all of these (such as the governmnet doing tests and finding out your origin)would be a rain of producers from hollywood to take you away to make movies/shows, etc.
