I typed in "shark" on Google translate then went through different languages and used the coolest sounding sounding name.

i go by many names. scence im not sure if we're talking about fursonas or not ill just list them.

5. alli-calli (a reserved nick-name from my friend. she decided that every one else had one and i didnt. so as my name is allen she got that when i was talking to a friend who is ironicly named chaligh ie. calli, callie, cally-how ever you spell that)

Going by fursona names and kinda just the background on em.

oh well in that case i go by sigma and tallick. cuz i ish speacal and have two fusonas. i created them both....i think. some one else might have them two. i got sigma to represent my normal everyday life. tallick represents the burning fury that a have for some reason. i supose from stress cuz of the court and change of custody. any way thats a different story for a different time

Now that my fursona has changed I might as well mention the new one. Aurelis was a name I made up awhile back for character names in the book I'm writing, and I became attached to it so I gave it to a new fursona that was developing behind the scenes of my brain. The root comes from the word "aura", which is her nickname.

Mortis = Latin for dead.
Reptus = Latin for lizard.

Mortis.Reptus = Dead lizard.
Which just so happens to be what my characters who represent me are.

More specifically, my sona's name Rigor Mortis is obviously referenced from one of the stages of post mortem. c:

i have like 50 billion names because im an indecisive person LOL

but...

'yayzi' - i created. originally a typo i meant to say 'yay' but i said 'yazy' and liked that but then eventually made it 'yayzi' which just stuck
'fyrus' - the name of a boss from a zelda game, twilight princess. 3 years ago i used to go by 'zaelren' but then i wanted a new name and so i chose 3 names of bosses from zelda, asked friends which one they thought fit me, and they all said fyrus so i stuck with that and i honestly prefer that name over yayzi LOL. 'fyrusome' is just fyrus + awesome/fearsome idk i like how it sounds for some reason
'nyctonecro' is a dumb name i wish i could get rid of but its my email and webs url and username on a lot of sites so im sorta forced to keep it. nycto is latin for night, necro is latin for dead.
'rodenticide' is the name id like to replace nyctonecro it just means killing rodents / rats which fits my sona since shes a dead rat thing

Well, Belirahc was created during one D&D campaign. I was playing a Drow wizard with a penchant for using fire spells. Using a Drow name generator I found in an old Dragon Magazine, I came up with Belirahc, which was Dragon's Fire in the table. I took this as my handle online as well, and I have come to identify with this as my scaly self, as my fursona is a dragon. Just seemed to come together pretty much on it's own.

I Was Watching A PBS Special About Presidential Portraits, And The Man Who Taught The Painter Who Did Washington's Portrait Was Named Neptune Thristin, And I Just Fell In Love with It. That And After The Greek God Of The Sea, As Well As The Planet

. So I Guess Mine Is Referenced From A Number Of Things, And I'm Really Happy With It.

Actually, Neptune is the romains sea god as Poseidon is the actual greek sea god

... But it's alright to mix them up as the romains totally copied the Greek mythology

...
