Music you discovered
« on: June 22, 2011, 04:04:37 AM »
Hey there ^-^ I thought about this and I think it could be a great idea to start this post...

As we all may know, we sometimes discover bands, music, artists that we didn't thought they existed or we discovered randomly and started to listen to... Come and share your late discoveries (like 6 months ago up to now) ^-^ any style is welcome  ^_^

As for me, I discovered many new metalcore/Deathcore bands :

- Kataklysm
- Abandon All Ships
- Whitechapel
- Blind Witness
- Hatebreed
- CJ ramone (that's a punk rock band though)

That's pretty much it for me ^-^
Be an Angel, play like a Devil... Rock is my live, so I'll be a Badass Angel.

I discovered that I like a lot of Skrillex stuff, not much else though, I drift around different genres a lot.

I discovered a band called The Bunny The Bear, kind of a mix of techno (often very danceable) Metal (Many heavy guitar riffs and growls) and pop (The other singer has an amazing falsetto voice)

I've also been listening to a very fast and loud Techy/Math Metal band called Car Bomb, which oddly enough can be likened to what the music itself sounds like, but I like it. Then again I can chill out and relax to dissonant noise, I'm weird that way :P

I love discovering new music. <3

Recently, I've discovered a group called "Smile.Dk" which is a techno group. I bet some of you Japan-Fans have heard of them!! ^_^

If you look closely at my 3rd stamp, Churchill has a Kricketot, Roosevelt has a Chimchar, and Stalin has a Happiny. :D

Clearing things up: I'm not living in N. Korea currently. My parents (miraculously) escaped there and came to the US from South Korea. So I'm a miracle-worker I guess. XD I luv my parents. They be awesome.

Though I personally don't like it really at all I suppose if one person considers it music, then it is, but recently I discovered Extratone -shivers- this sounds like a lawnmower to me, but to others I suppose it sounds alright.

I'm starting to get into Xasthur, a depressive black metal band I found on Fur Affinity Forums. I downloaded their "To Violate The Oblivious" album last night and liked just about every song on it.

Here's a sample:
