Nevermind, back! With random trivia! Did you know:


-That the UPF has 25 planets colonized in their territories, each colonized by separate ethnic groups paralleling each (former country) province on the home planet of Ultimax?
-Eleven of those planets are home to major military populations and serve as fortress worlds?
-That there are 13 original provinces parallel to real world country groups?

When you post Buster, feel free to move Althea to the drop/gunship. I stopped in the teleporter as I wasn't sure if you wanted her and Ghost to have some last minute words or anything of that nature.

Olaris, you do know that the Demon Launcher behaves much like the homing launcher right? http://starfox.wikia.com/wiki/Homing_Launcher


" The Homing Launcher cannot target enemies who are using a Stealth Suit, but the blast itself will still do damage if it successfully hits the opponent."


This means that the launchers used by Lylatians use a sort of laser guided beam riding technology much like a real life RBS-70 [size=78%]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RBS_70[/size]


This makes it able to target both aircraft and armor with little discrimination. However, if the designator could not track the target because the laser passes through the transparent object (coupled that with the RAM used on stealth aircraft, foiling any other radar backup system) it would fail or at the very least delay the lock. Right?

(Cannonly... the Demon Launcher is wierd. You do not have to aim at someone for it to lock on, it's rounds are near instant... and it's possible to get away from it. Just really really hard. And it has tagged someone under a cloak in the game. But as far as Federation technology goes, Olaris, nor I doesn't know. I only said that it wasn't optical because it locked on without aiming unless it uses a fan laser which again is weird. The predator missles are optical though... via lasers.)

I've still got my Star Fox Assault Prima Guidebook and it's telling me that the thing can't lock onto a cloaked opponent.

(I still have the game as well . And I do see that, so I am assuming it was a fluke, or I shot it the moment he cloaked.)
