Here is a character submission. I've been inspired by a friend to do something I've never done before: play a female character in a Role Playing Game. Let's see how this plays out.

Nationality: UPF (Luna Isles)
Affiliation: UPF
Appearance: Prefering to dress in uniform at all possible times, Althea is rarely seen outside of either her dress or combat uniform. Her white fur is always kept immaculate, as though to make up for the times when it is marred by the debris of warfare. With deep blue eyes, a slight build, and the compact muscles of a long distance sprinter and swimmer, she strikes an imposing figure.
Mindset: It was obvious that from an early age, Althea was a strategist. Her eyes rarely stay in one place for too long and all that meet her eyes can see the intensity in her gaze as though she is already three moves ahead of you and you have no chance of winning. She loves to joke and tease the members of her team, but knows that a strict mindset is conducive to victory. If it were to be labelled a flaw, Althea is a bit compulsive as seen in her personal quarters. A Place for Everything, and Everything in its Place.

-Main: Sniper, Silenced DMR, or AMR (SVX, VSZ, or X8)

-Helljumper: The Elite of the elite in the UPF, they are equal to ODSTs in the Halo Universe and fulfill the same roles. These are the battle hardened "first-in-last-out" badasses that can thrive on the battlefield. They have a few specialized equipment not even ESFP soldiers can touch. And as their name suggests they use orbital drop pods to take enemies by surprise.
 
-ESFP: Experimental Special Forces Program, Instead of genetic augmentation the UPF uses nanobots to safely augment the already above average abilities recruits have. They are just as tough as Spartan IIs but they're more mobile because they don't wear power armor. Instead they use a personal shielding system and an advanced adaptive combat armor. They are expected to be the most adaptive soldiers on the battlefield.

I'm super-tempted to say ESFP (which I assume means that the unit would have the nanobots, shielding, adaptive armor, and a weapon or two of their choice) as it fits the character, but if you have too many of those or people playing similar roles I can, with minimal effort or change to the character, play an obssesive Recon / Pathfinder (Loadout: Silenced DMR, SMG, Motion Tracker)


Also a question. I'm picking weapons on the assumption that they are effectively the same as the weapons we all know and love from our world. So a Designated Marksman Rifle fires metal slugs and uses ammunition, right?

Another question, am I allowed to have rank? If so, what ranks may I have (or will you assign)?

Usually ESFP Soldiers have Upper Officer ranks. They go into training as Officers and come out ranked up. So a junior officer who got an EXTREMELY good performance report in basic training will advance to the ESFP. I'd say Althea is Captain.
