It's been a while since I put any effort into working more on this roleplay. I got the idea a few months ago and it just keeps popping in and out of my head. Well I finally brought it back up to the surface of mein mind and finished writing an introduction story, along with deciding on a name. The name was a huge problem for me. It's literally taken all this time to come up with, and I'm still unsatisfied with how it turned out. But I can't complain because it's progress and that's what this roleplay needs.
Originally this roleplay was going to be made in the Adult Area, but I doubt anyone there would be interested in something constructive or mature. So here it shall be established! If you happen to browse the AA then you'll know about this roleplay, maybe.... that being the case please do not reveal anything to those others who may wish to join. That's just poor sportsmanship.
As more of the story is formed I will reveal the necessary points. But for now you'll have to deal with this:
Furry kind has always been a race of violent nature. Ploughing through the galaxy, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake. Even in this modern day and age, petty conflict creeps into peoples lives. One would think that after many years of evolution, we'd have something better to do than kill each other. But just like recurring herpes this disease shows its ugly face.
For those of you who use the Earth calender, the current year is 2411. For those who are familiar with the time table most commonly used with the spacing organizations, it is 6 phases past the 2nd Tier. Starting back in the first Tier, or around the year 2200, Furry kind made possible extended space travel. With the new capabilites brought forth by science they were able to further explore other planets. The first planet to be explored by Furry kind in person was Mars. There they had made colonies, sprouting up all over the planets surface. After about 25 phases of colonization, or 50 years, mining operations had begun. It didn't take long before a whole host of new elements were discovered. These new elements were placed into a new periodic table under the name of Crodia. Crodian elements brought forth even more possibilities for science, making lasting artificial biomes a reality. New space vessels with almost limitless travelling capabilities were created using this new set of elements.
Up until then the Mars colonies were under the control of the most powerful organization on Earth. The Senate Of Nations, or SON, was comprised of a majority of the world powers. With their combined influence it soon became the closest thing ever to a world government. But the Mars colonies saw themselves as something very seperate from any Earth politics, and deserving of their own form of government. It was soon realized that the new technologies formed from Crodia were their chance for independence. With better terraforming methods and more deadly weapons, Mars saught to overthrow the Earth based government. SON did not expect a sudden uprising and was quickly driven from the planet. Though Mars was greatly outnumbered, it was easy for them to declare seperation from Earth. With SON forced back to its homeworld Mars was free to create its own government. They expected that with their new technologies they would become the greater power in the solar system. With that in mind they rightfully named themselves Space Parliment of Economy and Commerce, or SPEC. Truely they were a speck in the vastness of space. Especially compared to Earth, but dispite their small size they quickly became very self sufficient and powerful.
There was only one problem that came out of this entire affair. SON would not have it. They were threatened and saught to stomp SPEC out before it could grow any further. The resulting conflict was devistating. Throughout a Tier of history war was waged. Both planets were raveged and made uninhabitable. Furry kind was being made extinct. As the worlds smoldered under their own hate and lust for power, they realized it was the end. No more could life be sustained in this solar system, and SPEC made preparations to leave for deep space. But as it is said, "It takes the worst to bring out the best in us." And so SPEC lent a hand to those left alive on Earth. Together the two enemies made out for new worlds in which to call their home.

This is my introductory post for what I hope will turn out as an epic and tragic sci-fi. It's probably going to be some time still before this roleplay is playable. See, I'm not too familiar with participating in a roleplay, let alone making one. So I'll do my best. Though I would like to ask for help from anyone who would be willing to lend some. Make a post asking what I might need help with and I'll enlighten you.
