Okay. Look everyone. I noticed the fire immunity was assumed. I was going to say something, but I thought I'd just let it pass. I also notice Horse's power does not cost him anything. It is rather unbalanced in my opinion, especially since he just gets armor out of nowhere. your power had said fire, "all bendable and controllable." It did not say heat. The bolts were molded with heat, not fire. I was just going to let it pass, because heat and fire can be closely related as fire is a common thing that releases heat through chem reaction. yada yada yada. Point is, most of the powers have limits. I feel bad cuz my limits are rather universal, but Gelidus' are lovely(to say the least) Even though she can use water whenever its around. Now, Horse and Sain, I'm going to need you two to put aside your differences in this OCC, and use it in RP. You can fight all you want in there, as long as you don't godmod/kill each other. Wound, go ahead, it helps the plot
Sain has well limited abilities, he's simply in his element. The room the characters has no light. The only way Gelidus and Gen are able to use their abilities is due to self supplied items. Horse, I'm limiting your power. Your character now has no armor which a spirit magically pulls out of air. He is not immune to heat, but he now carries three lighters in his pockets(if anyone knows smokers, this is also rather common to have more than one in the event one fails.) And he has to have fire around. He can only bend fire to his will, not heat. However, he can increase the energy fire releases(aka make it hotter), by burning surroundings(there has to be fire in the first place!) and taking in oxygen, as well as immediately put out any existing literal fire. I hate to limit and modify others' characters, BUT this is something that has to be done. If you don't like it, you may leave.
Also, just because no one likes your character in the RP, it doesn't mean that no one likes you OCC. Please understand the difference between RP and OCC. Your character can be a representation of you, but it is not you, so please don't take any conflicts personally. Again, certain characters act certain ways. Gelidus' character, to me, acts like a tom-boy(no offense to you Gelidus, if you did not mean to act like one, that's just how I interpret it.). Mine acts like a wimp, yours seems to act like a tough guy, and Siyan's seems to act like a creep. !!!!!!!!!!DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THIS PERSONALLY, THESE ARE YOUR CHARACTERS, NOT YOU!!!!!!!! Characters are supposed to have faults, and conflict, otherwise there is no rp.
So stop fighting with each other.
Also, Siyan, take an energy toll from picking up a horse of at least 150lbs
Your powers affect your strength, and as you picked up a man with a tentacle, it is like doing it with an arm. We can develop a formula for how much depending on the darkness. As it is almost pitch black, your character takes half the weight as toll.
If mine was in a room surrounded by mirrors/anything reflective, he'd take half of the toll.
If Gelidus' was in a room made of ice/ surrounded by waterfalls, or in the ocean or in a swimming pool, she'd take half the toll.
If Horse's was near a furnace/house fire, he'd take half the toll.
Situations where plenty of your attribute is available cause less energy needing to take up. I use mirrors for mine, cuz there's no way I'm fighting in a church =.=
Here are some formulas for the energy;
ice chunk for Gelidus. She takes a bit for making it, and then say it weighs 4 pounds. She takes the toll for 4lbs. If she was in a situtation where the room is all flooded, she'd take 2lbs.
For Gen; Ray of light. As light has near to no weight, he takes energy toll for making it. Making it costs almost twice as energy as it would for Gelidus to change water to ice(physical change from liquid to solid).
For Siyan; Ray of darkness. He looses a bit of blood from summoning it, and takes the same as it would for Gelidus to change water to ice.
For Horse; Fire ray thing. He looses the energy equal to the a quarter of the amount of oxygen and material burning from the flame. To expand and incresase the heat of a flame, he loses energy equal to a quarter of the oxygen and material.
Does anyone have an issue? Sorry for using your ability as a currency, Gelidus. I found it convenient >_> We're not going to sit there and calculate, just rough estimates. I wasn't making up abilities for anyone either, I was just using examples. These formulas will be used for almost all uses of ability. These are all rough, so if you have suggestions, PLEASE say them : 3 Especially for your own ability, because it depends a lot on the abilities themselves, as Gelidus' is the only one who has real weight
I use a quarter for fire, because if I did the whole, it'd be A LOT, and would limit him more than everyone.
If you've any suggestions/complaints/problems with these, please say so. I don't wish to cause tension.
But Horse, I do feel bad for modifying your ability, because it's supposed to be your character and what you want him to be. But I also gotta make if fair for myself, Gelidus, and Self-Sain. I can't please everyone, so I hope you and all of us will be able to compromise. If you still wanna be out, okay.
(I'm not continuing until tomorrow, so he has time to reply.)
Also, another reminder, characters aren't the people themselves. How they act can be based off a person, but not everyone's out to get each other. Do us a favor, and take no actual insult that a character might not like yours. Be happy they take the time to involve their character with yours.
Sorry for any errors and the delay, I'm trying to complete 2 essays and read a book on the side. *needs to stop procrastinating*
Edit; When your character is angry, there is no drastic increase in power or decrease in energy needed to use their character. Also, Horse, I will excuse where the power limits had been stepped over to this point. But from now on, when your character sticks a red hot piece of metal into his mouth, expect it to get burnt. However, I'm not erasing the fact he attacked almost everyone in the room.
