My favorite anime as of now is Rozen Maiden, but I also like Mnemosyne.
Oh yeah, a list:

Rozen Maiden- A story about living dolls created by the master doll maker "Rozen". They believe they have to play something called the Alice Game which involves killing all the other Rozen dolls in order to become the perfect girl called "Alice". An amazing story and lovable characters. You will cry. You will laugh. You will watch every season and become a fanboy/girl.

Mnemosyne- Two immortal women running a sort of "lost and found" agency desperately have to fight to survive. They must keep their immortality a secret. They run in to all sorts of freaks who want them dead or want to experiment on them. Throughout this, the main character "Rin" is trying to avoid a fate worse than death...becoming a bride to the "new God". It's confusing, violent, sexual and oh gods I love it. Also, lesbians.

Candy Boy- A sweet, short, and fun romance between two related (?) girls. Adorable.

Updated! I just got Kannazuki no Miko the manga! I didn't know they had that. O.O
And my new favorite manga for my list....
