Okay, it's clear you're flying blind here Cifero

First if you haven't already, I would appreciate it if you read the first post of this OOC thread.
Second, don't just drop yourself into someone else's story when you've no idea what's going on.
Third, if you haven't already, then when you want to put yourself in someone's backstory I suggest you read that backstory first.

Now to explain what's going on.
Kitt's characters are hidden in a hole under a building in Tina City.
Chronin and Grace E.'s characters are in a tree by the town of the Shard, which is where Nero is.
Tangletail's character is in the dome of government above the crater that Nero is in.
Self Sain and Katie's characters are in the Temple of the Chosen which is in Tina City's UnderCity (it's underground.)

As for a 'cause', well the Queen wants to know what's going on in the Shard town,
Little Hands, Saviour and Seeker want to stop and hopefully destroy Nero.
Kitt's characters want to get away from their clan so they can be safe
Katie's character wants to meet Nero
The Chosen are going to teach Meredith (Self Sain's character) how to be a Chosen.
I'm not really too sure about Chronin or Grace E.'s characters. They have rather mysterious, or at least mulitple end goals, which i quite like.
And Leo (Tangletail's character) has pretty much lost all hope of life and is currently Suicidal.

Now as for you?
I suggest you make your own tale. You're just jumping in and trying to make things happen where things are already happening. If you want to be a character, then have your own story as well as contributing to the overall arc. Have a backstory that informs what you will be doing in such a world. Don't just exist for the sake of existing.

I dont mean to tell you off or anything.
It's just to help you out here.

His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

I had Talin's path planned out, but the idea of it is like throwing in puzzle pieces that have a good chance of not fitting.

I believe the only way you can keep us on a path, is to limit what we can do...
"From suffering I was born, From misery I was conceived. From the plight of Mortals I thrive, From the pits of Hell I rise, beware...... For I live.........."

"Wait, you're here for my shiny loot? I thought you were here to avenge the cattle and people I've slaughtered..."

I do limit what you can do to some extent but that's only really limiting super powers and deus ex machina,  to make sure that drama and tension are possible. how that drama and tension appears is very... organic.

Cifero... I get the feeling you're doing the exact same thing you did before.
You're jumping into people's sidestories without any reason, and certainly without any story of your own.
I think the main issue is that you want to be immediately part of the action and you think you have to force that yourself. But if you look at the start of most of the other stories, they often have stories that are separate from all of the other players.
Talin was in jail,
Imshi and Yenchi were with their clan,
Aria was in the crowd
Entaru was with Aman
Leo was unconscious miles and miles away from any semblance of civilization
They were all separate and through my guidance and their own character and story they eventually found characters that fit together to make a subplot. They didn't just start off in a big group together.

Dont just throw yourself into the middle of the path hoping that someone will crash into you. Settle your own character down a bit first and you have to trust in me to get you into something cool, whether it be involved in someone else's plot line, or blazing your own. I always promise to keep everyone occupied and entertained as best I can and not just force people to make their own fun.

Also you really should trust in the ability of your own character to be interesting even if they are on their own for a little bit. If a character can't exist without other people there then you need think about why and fix that. I mean what would your character be doing normally when he's not hurling himself into other people's storylines?

Again, i'm not trying to stop you playing, i'm not putting you down and i definitely do want as many people playing as possible, but jumping into a storyline that's already in progress pretty much grinds that storyline to a halt and throws all the pacing off. It forces a massive reset and requires a lot of work to get things back on track to being dramatic again. It's much much more effective if you go slow and ease yourself into a storyline that fits you.
