Cat Birds are totally acceptable (there are quite a few hybrids in the world, including Kitt's female character and the Queen herself if you look at her description.) and I dont see how a cat bird would present any sort of real imbalance from a gameplay standpoint so I've no reason to object to it.
Also mixing a crow and a bird does not give you cat hearing + crow hearing. Looking at it from the most basic and relatively ignorant standpoint one would expect a catbird's hearing to be somewhere between the abilities of the two animals.
Suddenly finding out that you have wings is certainly a story to be explored so that's good.
By the way, they threw him out of the castle for asking the wrong questions. What questions? That'll be revealed later.
If you have any plans for story that involves deep secrets with any element controlled by me I would just ask that you run them by me first for a few reasons.
I need to know if it fits within the world and continuity,
I need to be able to mould the story with such things in mind.
I've got it. I'll leave the treehouse and its startled occupants and start running like heck from there, and then go into a flashback which explains some things but not all, and then I suppose at some point I'm gonna run into one of the other characters on their own accord, since considering my current position, it would be a bad idea if I ran into one of them myself. Will this work? Hope so. I'll just wait for your reply.
that sounds just fine and Chronin and Grace don't really need to put any reactions to that since all it really is is resetting Feuilly's story so we can get a good start on him. Ignoring it will help in keeping the scene smooth and more natural so it gets a better feel to it.
As for running into other characters, dont plan to, don't expect to. Just play with the story, see where it takes you. Most likely I will direct you to interact with other people, but it's certainly a possibility that you'll not meet any other player for a while. I'm not saying it's likely, but i'm not saying that it's not likely either so just go with the flow, okay?
