Little-Hands looked back with a scowl at Leo.
"Seeker say we must act. You not question Seeker. She know more than you," she said. Her body rocked as Saviour looked up and nudged her with his shoulder. She rolled her eyes and huffed a sigh. "Okay I try to explain it so idiot like you understand," she said and chewed on her cheek as she thought. "Seeker feel what people know. Seeker everywhere. Seeker say she feel his follower people. She also feel him. He is small and weak; but he grow. Understand? Hit now so we dont get hit later, yes?" She crawled along Saviour's back to get closer to Leo, and with every word she over expressed with her face as though it would allow easier comprehension. Andreya leaned around them and looked over to the village they headed to. It was coming closer. They would reach it soon.
Dim Lane watched Aria with a twinge of concern but kept up the smile to her family friends. He took the girl's hand and pulled her along toward the farmer's market.
"Would love to chat. We will soon, don't you worry but she's my assistant and there's work to be done, so nice seeing you, bye!" He jogged along a bit quicker and dragged her with him. When they reached the market, the smell of a thousand different foods filled their heads and were displayed all around them, though the food may have been there for some time. There seemed to be a drought of customers. "I can pay for everyone so buy what you like."
"Don't worry my darling of the devil." Aman pressed his head against the door and listened to the screams of the twisted lungs of his ex-assistant. "We are so close. So very close to setting you free. The shard will become one with you entirely. You will feel the sky like a cloak of the living, breathed into your body and murdered without mercy." He chuckled to himself and sat on the ground. "The problem is, the shard is in there with you so we cant get to it." He licked his lips and ran hi paw down his chest as he closed his eyes and remembered. "I've heard the screams. Both yours and theirs. I'll hear it in my dreams while my nightmares are its silence; but we both want more. In order to get more, you need to sit still or tie yourself down so we can get to the shard. Can you do that?"
Alex kneeled down beside Listy and stroked her arm in comfort.
"It's okay Roxy, the Queen will help, don't worry." He looked at Queen Tizzarath, who frowned at him.
"I've heard of that person," she said, and turned her attention to the girl. "And I think I know where that doll would be, but it's very dangerous to go there." She patted the girl's head and stood to her feet. "I think I know who can take her to it." Alex, the chosen and the badger guard stood aside as she headed past them down the corridor and gestured for them to follow.
"Isn't that wonderful Roxy?" Alex beamed a grin as he took her hand and escorted her behind the queen while the badger followed on with them.
Reeza stood up as Yenchi entered the room, but sat in her chair, his mother raised her hand. Reeza took the note and sat back down and tried to avoid staring at one half of a fighting couple.
The stone figures rippled with an internal glow that seemed to warp about their bodies, and against Meredith's hand, she could feel it getting warm. Akela smiled and patted girl on the shoulder as more and more energy flowed through rock. Gemstones in their arms lit up and their heads moved in the slightest but most definite nod. They looked down at the girl and their impassive faces seemed happy. The emptiness was gone and filled with light.
"Good girl, such a good girl." Akela shook Meredith and pulled her into a tight hug, then turned her around and looked over at Siyan, displaying the girl like a prize fighter.
