Unable to see or feel what had happened, Listy took a few steps back and shook her head wildly, ears back, whining, suddenly more frightened. "What's wrong?" she asked "Why did you let go?" At the moment, she was unable to tell where Akela was, and could not quite look at her in the blackness that was her sight. "Akela?" she cried, head turning this way and that.

The nervous mink bowed to Leo as he left, while the more controlled one made little steps toward Andreya.
"I am Perra and my friend is Beem," he said gesturing to the other mink who now scuttle up behind and kept close. Andreya nodded and gestured for them to follow her back out the room. "The shard chamber, Nero's resurrection point, is down at the crater centre, but  it's just a room filled with blood," Perra said as the three headed into the corridor where Leo ambled about.
"What about any weaknesses" Andreya asked as she herded the pair to walk in front of her.
"None that we know. We didn't exactly plan on killing him." Perra tried to laugh, and Beem shrank at his side. Perra coughed the laugh away. "I guess the sensible choice is Seeker's power. The chosen would be able to do something," he said. Andreya nodded, and patted Perra on the back.
"Well that helps some. Do you know where we can find these chosen?" she asked.
"Tina City is your best bet. It's south about twenty miles." He pointed in some vaguely general direction. "You'll protect us right?" he asked and glanced to the pistols she carried, then over at Leo. "We wont be a burden?"






Neesa looked on as the beasts poured in. As the leader leapt, she crouched back and allowed it to hit, forcing her hand into its open more, pushing into the throat, causing it to gag and pull away.





Dim Lane kept close, lowering both their heads to shuffle through the forest. They stopped behind a bush and he peered through the trees.
"There is definitely someone following us. Should i call them out?"




"Stop!" Akela said, crouched to the floor, staring at the girl. "Stay still Roxy. We have a little problem." She shuffled further, making sure not to touch. "That poison in you, that black stuff. It's unnatural, it's against Seeker and it's poisoned your skin. I can't hold your hand." She looked around, trying to figure things out.

Leo came to a hault before glancing over his shoulder to the two twin minks. He gave himself one quick look over his own physique finding absolutely nothing spectacular, or anything that represented strength in some form or fashion. Sure the feline had come quite a ways, but he still held a rather pitiful body to be considered a personal bodyguard.  “Protect you,” the cat asked through a humorous scoff,  his voice then broke into a light laughter as he twisted his torso around to get a better view of the two, “Uh... well I don't know how much vigor you see in me, and I am questioning how I am still alive right now. But sure, no promises though.” He quickly brought his hands up, and rested them gently on his hips as he turned back down to his original personal objective.

 
The more the feline studded the door, the more it taunted him, and of course the more of a glorious sheen it held to the cat. In fact, he began to hear distant laughter from his own imagination as the hallway had began to stretch before him and extend on for miles on end, and arc downwards indefinitely turning the hallway into an odd pitfall to hell. The lighting had changed as well creating a mid-tone of dark blood that painted the walls. Leo's eyes narrowed once, before widening along with the feline taking one hesitant step back in surprise. He could have sworn he saw some movement on the other end. “Uhmp! Yep, T-Tina City sounds like a good bet,” the scientist exclaimed after promptly shutting his eyes closed and giving his head a rough shake, “Are you sure there is nothing important inside that room? I'd hate to abandon it if ssssssssss... shard chamber?”

Nero chuckled as Talin disappeared with a look of terror on his face.  Chronin had been cocky too...he only wished he could have seen that face when he was still alive.  Turning to Aman, he smiled softly and pet him gently.  "Come Aman....we have an army to lead.  Make sure they are ready to march by dusk, for Tina city is our next destination."  He walked away, towards the center of town once more, letting his hands glide across the bodies of his angels as he passed by them.

After some time, Talin found that he no longer had the overpowering urge to flee, but the calm he felt was soon replaced with shame and frustration. He was no longer sprinting, but was not walking at a relaxed pace. I couldn't even wound him! He is in a mortal shell, but he took the stab and made me go mad with fear! Tizz would probably have forgiven the violence if I stopped Nero then and there, but I can't even see how I can harm hi- He stopped in his tracks as he thought he saw someone in his peripheral, only to have them vanish when he took notice. He looked around himself for some time before groaning in annoyance and continuing his trek. Great, now I'm hallucinating without even going into a memory, now how am I supposed to convince the authorities of Tina City that I'm not mad?!

Aria shook her head and signed with her hands in sign language No, I will jump them not kill them...I know these forests like not other...get ready to fight..." she drew her dagger, holding it tightly in her hand as she waited for the followers to come into view, there was a intense look in her green eyes as she waited.

It was nightfall when aeron awoke once more, painfully he pushed himself into a slumped position against the tree behind him grunting in pain as he did so. He instantly scanned his surroundings out of habit, noting every rock, tree, and landmark, each one bringing back memories of the cowardly ambush that had given him these near-mortal wounds. He saw the other two furs with their backs turned to him, facing the small cookfire, aeron tried to call for water, only managing a cough.

Feuilly turned around to see that the injured furry had woken up.
"Viola," he said, nodding towards the man. "He's up."
"Okay, stay here, I'll go talk to him."
Viola got up and walked over to the wolf.
"Hello there," she asked. "You feeling better? You had one hell of a gash in you side... not to mention all those other wounds..."

aeron spoke in a tired and shaky voice, "w-w-where am i? and who are you?"

"Well, you're beneath a large shady tree off to the side of a road where you were placed after we found you."
She extends a paw.
"I'm Viola, and my friend over there is named Feuilly."
"You mean your friend behind you?"
Viola jumped a bit as Feuilly suddenly materialized behind her.
"Sheesh, you're pretty fast," she said.
Viola turned back to the wolf.
"And you, sir? What are you called?"

"I-I don't kn-"
all of a sudden, the fog clouding Aeron's mind parted for a instant, time froze; and then he saw a memory,
he saw a pure white she-wolf, she had his muzzle and his eyes, and he saw a tall, lean, and strong gray wolf, built like himself, with his ears, the pair were sitting on the ground on their knees, bound and gagged, the gag slipped from the she-wolfs mouth,
she screamed
"AERON!!!!"
 then all went dark,
and time began once more.
aeron found himself howling, a long and mournful greivance for the death of his mother and his father.
he hung his head in silence for a moment. "my name..............is aeron"

Feuilly jumps into the air in surprise as the wolf howled suddenly. He rushed over, his wings twitching nervously.
"Is there something wrong?" he asked Viola.

"I- I can't remember."
 
"anything."

[Cifero Windtail]

The pair looked at Aeron in surprise.
"Amnesia, huh?" Viola said, getting Aeron some water. "That kinda sucks."
"It can't be amnesia, actually," Feuilly said, flexing his wings. "He can remember his name..."
The young crat sat down next to Aeron and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Aeron," he said, "Are you sure that you can't remember anything? Not even who did this to you?"

"i cant't remem-"
aeron saw a white flash,brighter than  ten suns' and then...
"there was an ambush"aeron said with a snarl "and i think my parents are dead' thhts all i remember"

Feuilly nodded.
"I see," he said, flexing his wings. "Well, did you have any weapons? We found some by the side of the road, but we weren't sure if they were yours or not."
"Yeah," Viola added. "I can bring them over there if you want me to..."
