Yenchi watched as Siyan pulled his sister in close, nodding absentmindedly to him. It was with a small grin that he shook his head and said "No problem, and I'm not from the city, only here for the celebrations. We're a fishing tribe from up north." He glanced over the bat's shoulder to where a vixen of the Teresa clan strode towards them, realizing too late that it was Imshi.

"Yenchi!" She gripped her fishing-spear in a tight grip, her tail flicking as she put one hand to her hip. "You know how much trouble there is with my family, it would be best if you stayed away from them."  She finally glanced across at Meredith and Siyan before turning back to Yenchi. "There is nothing I can say to them, nothing I can do now. I always knew my decision would be frowned upon, but getting me evicted from the clan?"

With a sigh Yenchi looked into Imshi's amber eyes, seeing the anger and fear in them. Both Meredith and Siyan seemed forgotten as he drew the two knives from his belt and dropped them to the floor at Imshi's feet. "Fine, I will make the decision myself then. You won't be thrown out of the clan because I am no longer your sworn servant, or your friend, or anything. Your clan means that much to you, I dont want to be the one who takes it away from you." With that he turned and walked back down the path towards the river, leaving Imshi to watch him leave with an expression of frozen shock.

"Mister! Mister Yenchi!" Meredith yelled as she pushed her self out of Siyan's arms trying to catch up to Yenchi. Meredith's little feet moving as quickly as they could, catching up to the adult male. "Mister-" she manged to get out between panting, "where are you going, you don't got a home now?" Her ears back and her voice sympathetic. Siyan slowly kept towards them, but gave a tad space, he didn't like being a third leg.

Leo frowned at the woman's explanation. He began to think a bit as he examined the womans apparel, finding how odd it was for her to be wearing something that was a tad bit more primitive.  He was about to explain what the flashlight was after assuming he had landed on a more low tech planet, however his ear caught something a bit more... off to the cat. He slowly tilted his head as he stared at the woman in confusion at that one little detail. “The woman is my friend... and I crashed here... what do you mean I am from 'Far Before'?”

Yenchi looked round as he walked, giving a weak smile to Meredith "No, I will return to my original clan." He continued on down the street without waiting or slowing down for the young girl. The smile that he had managed for those few moments was now gone. "They will humiliate me. Let's just say I expressed an intent to never return when I left them. Its my fault, I should never have accepted her offer and broken traditions." His whiskers twitched as he walked, his tail hanging limp.

Imshi watched them walk away, a pained expression of confusion and shock swimming her tears. She brushed them away roughly and turned towards the theater, then back towards the river, the tears still running down her cheeks. As she turned back and forth her wings fluttered and shook with violent tremors as the same shakes ran down her arms to her tightly curled fists.

As the guards on the rooftop were knocked down, the thirty archers on the ground let loose their arrows that sliced through the air up to Talin with Aria in the crossfire.

"Far before," said Little-Hands. "Before now, but long long before. You know?" She folded her arms and mumbled at the walls. "Passi no sti. Passi no sti canjo. past ya? Hazsow." She looked back down at him and huffed in frustration. "You are from past. Now is future." She pointed at him. "You fly in ships, up there." She pointed to the ceiling with her other hand with the dagger held. "What did you do before you come here? What made you come here?"

And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

the forest was quiet, other than the constant chirping of birds. six shadows flew through the trees, silently running through the tree tops heading for a known herd path.

not far away a shadowy figure silently watched a herd of large animals walking the path, the figure's punji spear ready.

the six reached different points of the path launching into the air with their spears raised above their head. the six in the air landed on three of the animals, quickly stabbing their spears into the necks and spines of the animals while the others started to freak out and run. once the three were on the ground the seventh figure jumped out, it's purple scales shimmering in the partial light. walking over and spearing each one between the eyes and uttering a short prayer for each of the three before they started to move them back into the trees, vanishing with little more than some blood splatter to show anything happened

Talin gave a glance at the arrows, and guessed that a majority of them would land near him rather than area. He flashed 'run' to Aria as he charged at the Jackal, knowing that the arrows could not change their direction once fired. He swung with the flat of the blade out, so even if she intentionally sacrificed herself so that Talin would be put to death, he would just knock her away like the other soldiers.

Aria managed to escape with only an arrow in her shoulder. her blood seeping down her arm, but she maintained a steady breath as she ran, jumping would get herself killed along with being on the roof. so she booked it on the roof tops, guards following her, some climbing along the roofs tops, following her.

The feline continued to stare to the woman with an awestruck expression. His jaw slacked only slightly as the the girl continued her explanation. He quickly shook his head and regained his composure after being questioned, still finding this hard to believe. “Me and my friend were under attack by a large hyena who wanted something called the Everflame,” he explained as he took a deep breath and sighed, trying to ignore the searing pain in his arm.

“He held us in a gravity sphere and we tried to escape....” he trailed off as he remember what he said before they launched off. The words were very clear to him as he quoted himself in a soft voice, his eyes staring off into the darkness past the lizard and the girl as his mind relived the moment. “Worst case scenario... we die a much quicker death... best case scenario we blast off into freedom at a ridiculous velocity...” he spoke dully before blinking, his mouth closed for the moment as he came to a final conclusion, though he found it highly impossible and very difficult to accept. “I tore through the fabric of space in time... thats what happened. What year is this?”

Entaru grimaced, looking at the raven with his lips curled in a snarl.  "He's just another 'scholar' looking to pry information about the Shard out of us, my lord.  I attempted to leave him behind but he seems to be rather persistant."  He spoke as if the raven wasn't there, ignoring his presence in hopes that it would make him go away.  The fur on his tail was bristling at this point, clearly aggravated by the avian's presence.  In any other circumstance he would have cracked the raven across the head with his staff and left him in a ditch to recover, but he had to maintain his composure...at least for his master's sake.

The jackal readied herself as Talin leapt at her, blade arching and shimmering in the sun. As it came to her, she placed her hands to the blade and ducked under its swing, twisting the sword with the flow of Talin's momentum, throwing him to the floor with the blade clamped in her grasp. The guards Leapt at Talin, throwing themselves to grab and hold him down, with knives bared threatening his flesh.

Only a small group guards left the main group to persue the girl. They leapt upon rooftops, while others raced alongside on the ground. Archers launched arrows, pinging around Aria with stone head lodging into rooftops wood window covers. The walls of the city loomed and the locked gate stood tall in front with guards and archers ready and waiting.

Little-Hands looked confused and tilted her head to comprehend. She twitched at the walls and her eyes widened. "Ahh, the year? I don't know the number but Seeker says you came from ten thousand years ago though for you the technology of the world may seem ten thousand years into the past." Her lips twitched. She almost smiled at the idea.

The four guards led Aman, Entaru and Dim Lane around to the back of the theatre, heading to the rear doors where crocodile guards stood watch.
"So why is he following us?" asked Aman.
"Well I believe I can help in this little incident." Dim Lane piped up again,  while Aman grimaced a tad. "You see, I have made some recent discoveries of references to multiple... beings I guess they would be called. Gods you might call them." The raven wobbled as he spoke, as though the words were physical objects made in his feet and spewing out of his mouth. Aman looked down at the raven but he chewed the ideas in his head, interest brewing in his expression. Once they reached the door, the crocodiles stepped aside and the four guards leading stepped through heading along a corridor two people wide. it led to a door opening to a small room with a table, four chairs and a fruit bowl.

Aria had to find a way to get out of there. she was going to be murdered if she didnt run, now the blood was dripping and leaving a trail of tiny droplets, she was gonna have to do something crazy, she didnt know what, she managed to find a long stick that was once apart of the building, she stopped not caring about her arm, she used the stick as a weapon, hitting one of the gaurds in the head as he fell after that sickly crack.

Talin was partially expecting for this attack to fail, but not to the point where Aria couldn't make a clean get-away. "Why do you care if I leave the city? There are at least twenty others that are not suffering from what I am." He looked up at the jackal, doing very little to jostle the guards on him. "At least let the girl leave the city, that is all she freed me for... I'll go back quietly if you do so."

Siyan stood next to Meredith; resting his hand gently on her head. The fox looked at her brother; her rich green eyes embedded with a hint of sorrow. Siyan smiled rubbing her head softly; reassuring the troubled child.

Leo's face curled from something of a confused expression, to a dim grimace. He would slowly raise a paw and rested it on his snout, and take a deep breath. “How... the he-” he cut himself off before quickly pulling the hand away from him to look at the girl. “Let me get this right,” he started as he lowered his injure arm from exhaustion and quickly placed his good hand over the wound to apply pressure.

“I am in the future, where the future in technology, is one-hundred centuries behind my original era's technology is one-hundred centuries ahead of this time,” the feline inquired as he took a deep breath and continued on, with a nearly ridiculous tone. “So I am a figure of the future, from the past now in the future. If this is so... how the heck do I explain this to... to anyone?! And how do you even come to this conclusion!?”
