The jackal readied herself as Talin leapt at her, blade arching and shimmering in the sun. As it came to her, she placed her hands to the blade and ducked under its swing, twisting the sword with the flow of Talin's momentum, throwing him to the floor with the blade clamped in her grasp. The guards Leapt at Talin, throwing themselves to grab and hold him down, with knives bared threatening his flesh.
Only a small group guards left the main group to persue the girl. They leapt upon rooftops, while others raced alongside on the ground. Archers launched arrows, pinging around Aria with stone head lodging into rooftops wood window covers. The walls of the city loomed and the locked gate stood tall in front with guards and archers ready and waiting.
Little-Hands looked confused and tilted her head to comprehend. She twitched at the walls and her eyes widened. "Ahh, the year? I don't know the number but Seeker says you came from ten thousand years ago though for you the technology of the world may seem ten thousand years into the past." Her lips twitched. She almost smiled at the idea.
The four guards led Aman, Entaru and Dim Lane around to the back of the theatre, heading to the rear doors where crocodile guards stood watch.
"So why is he following us?" asked Aman.
"Well I believe I can help in this little incident." Dim Lane piped up again, while Aman grimaced a tad. "You see, I have made some recent discoveries of references to multiple... beings I guess they would be called. Gods you might call them." The raven wobbled as he spoke, as though the words were physical objects made in his feet and spewing out of his mouth. Aman looked down at the raven but he chewed the ideas in his head, interest brewing in his expression. Once they reached the door, the crocodiles stepped aside and the four guards leading stepped through heading along a corridor two people wide. it led to a door opening to a small room with a table, four chairs and a fruit bowl.
