That being said, I was slightly misquoted in this situation, so I will clarify.
A notice to everyone who's been chatting in this thread:
The point of the Find Your Species board is to get to know others of your species. If that means chatting a little bit in the thread, that's fine, but it is not necessary to spam the thread with a bunch of posts just talking about how much you love wolves (or whatever the species may be). You don't have to talk about JUST wolves.
And if the chatting turns into a long conversation, please move it over into PMs. Flooding the thread with chat can make the thread difficult to navigate when people are trying to find others.
Chatting in these threads, in general, is okay. Though we do prefer really long conversations to be taken to PMs for the exact reason I stated at the end of my quoted post.
What we would NOT like to see happening in these threads is twenty people all alternating saying some variation of "Foxes are cool!" or "I love foxes!" or "Foxes are so awesome!" or "Foxes are the best!" or "I love being a fox!" or "Aren't foxes amazing?"
over and over and over and over.
See the difference?
At that point, it pretty much becomes spam. That's when a moderator is expecting to say something about it.
