BF is a blue version of a Red Fox. However, he has Culpeo, Pampas Fox, and South American Gray Fox (Chilla) in his lineage. Faint hints of these can be seen in his ear shape and body structure. He is mostly red fox though, and possesses a recessive gene that gave him the blue fur he sports. (The blueberry thing is a joke XD )
