Using art from someone else and claiming it as your own actually is a pretty terrible idea. It can get you into a load of trouble. Most artists don't really mind you using it if you give them credit where credit is due, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

I never claimed the art as mine. I just cut and copied the photo together so i guess that made it mine è.é troubles evaded: i changed the artist of my avatar. Sowwy TwT i'm a bad person... *goes in the corner*

What i knew is that if you modifies other's image by cutting, resizing, coloring or any other trasformation it actually begins your to credit... I didn't mean to steal anything, identity nor credits TwT But that is why i put "Myself" on "Avatar by" because it actually was me... Well, it gives you credit for editing, but the original material is still owned by the original artists. There was a band that took an exact part from another musician's piece and gave no credit; those artists were blocked from receiving money for the song and they got a fine for doing so. It's plagiarism, because it's using the hand crafted work of another person, cutting parts off and claiming the whole section as yours. I'm not scolding you or anything, I'm just giving you an explanation.

But hey, you're a reasonable fellow, and I greatly appreciate that. You'll fit in well here, and my fellow moderators will respect you for your courtesy.
