Yea, I have many back up characters that I use, But I do have a couple of different variations of my sona.

It kinda happens from doing a bit of writing.
Though one of my favourite variations of my Sona Vance is one from a recent RP were my characters were a group of agents from the future of that world trying to prevent the alternate future. In that variation of Vances past almost all otters were eliminated, he lost his mind and was taken under the control of the spirit villainy and gave him a demonic form. He broke free of the spirits control and gained the ability to switch between forms.

I like reading some of the backstories people use for their fursonas

That variation is mainly used for RP.
My actual Sona is one that is essentially me, but as an otter.
Another variation is one that is based on a character that I created before I realized I was a furry.

My fursona is basically me as an otter as well 


Also sounds like you've got a variation for almost every situation

As well as a few other characters, including a fox assassin, forest guardian cheetah, earthbending feline and a manx cat that I still need to actually fully create

Wow that's a really fun bunch of characters there! 


Hmm...earthbending feline...is someone a fan of the last airbender?

It is the easiest way to put it because well that is essentially what she is. Honestly it is kind of easier to say that than an earth controlling feline.

  And yes I am a last airbender fan, not film, only show, and legend of korra is good as well.

What are your favorite qualities of the otter?

yea that would likely be best.

hmmm, what do I like about otters? They are semi aquatic, playful, and so cute, there are probably more but I cannot think of them right now.

Well aside from those traits, I chose the sea otter because it reminded me of the western coast and I love the beach.

Fair enough. I am more of a lake or river swimmer, even though the town I grew up in is right on the seaside.
I chose Eurasian otter because.... I don't actually fully know why...
