Windows 7 Boot Up
« on: August 16, 2011, 03:54:56 AM »
So, it's midnight, and I'm attempting to make my computer useful again. I used to have this trick set up where Windows 7 would use all of my RAM during boot up, and it made it start up in seconds. Now, I can't seem to find that article that I got it from.
Anyone know how to go about doing this?

I don't know of the article, but I believe it might be a trick in msconfig.exe?

What I know, you go into the Boot tab > Advnced options > Then check the "Number of processors" and select the highest available number.
There is also an option called "Maximum memory", yet I'm not sure if that's what your looking for?

If you know how to tweak ur comp, try using ultimate windows tweaker or something like that. The GUI is better than going through millions in the registry
