how many people know about your furry side?

For me, if people want to know, or I feel like sharing, I will tell them I'm into it.

anyone who asks i tell about it, it's not such a big deal. i have pictures of jd on my facebook page with links to the artist. i think it's kinda obvious anyway when i call my compositions things like "another blue whale" "legless cheetah" "pangolin" "manatee" "yawning lions" "gef the talking mongoose" "somit about tigers" "lynx town" "heron music" "owl music"

anyone who doesn't understand it just gets the "i'm interested in animals" explanation. it's not worth getting into an in-debt discussion with people about it cause they're generally not remotely interested.


not to say it isn't a double life. my furry friends don't know my other friends. not cause i don't want them to mix or anything, it might be kinda nice tbh... it's just that the other friends aren't particularly interested in it... plus i don't know how my music friends would feel being trapped in a room with loads of other gays. i'm sure they wouldn't mind it particularly... but who knows?

mostly just a few friends, or anyone able to link me to my facebook page but i mainly keep it as my little secret. but it's the same as my sexuality, if you ask me if i'm a furry i'll say yes, no drama (unless i know your a fur-hater...then i might not be so honest )

It's not a huge deal to me, I used to walk around town with a tail on (I moved to Cali and then back to here again need a new tail ) I actually plan on getting a wig sometime to attach ears to and slowly work out a half-suit type thing for Anime Expo next year

You would never know I was a furry in real life because I never show it and I don't own anything furry, simply because I don't feel it's necessary, not because I'm afraid (I'm actually very open about it), but my IRL friend from high school knows (he's a fur himself), and my step-brother knows. My mom has seen my Second Life fox avatar on FaceBook, but I don't think she knows what a furry is, as she just responded "interesting..." to it.

Only 2 of my closest friends know, but even then I don't talk about it much around them. The only other person that knows I'm a fur is my mate, but she is a fur herself.

Probably no one, but my parents clearly see me going on to this forum so like I dunno. I never watched any furry video of any kind with them around because I lol a lot when I see fursuiters at cons or when they go into walmart shopping, i know right!

I think my anime-trolling friend might know, or he thinks so.

Either way, I haven't told anyone anything about this. But if they ask, I'd say that I was one.

Meh, either way I don't think anyone knows and I don't intend on telling anyone anytime soon.

I used to keep it a secret, because i was afraid of what peoples reactions would be, then I realized it wasn't a huge deal . . . so I told a few people, and if anyone else asks, I'll tell them. My roommates must see me on this website all the time, so I assume they have an inkling of an idea, but neither of them care that much.

Well I personally think it's a little unnecessary to go around introducing yourself, "Hi, I'm Tyler, and I'm a furry!" It really isn't that big of a deal, it'd be like me introducing myself as a yogonaught (If you're curious what that is, check out the Yogscast on youtube).
