You can but you can't suddenly show up and be all "I'm an expert. Blah blah blah"
The magic rule is basically you can learn one of the listed things:
Electricity and Water
Water and Wind
Wind and Earth
Earth and Fire
Fire and Electricty
Dark
Light

You can learn the basics of a listed combination of elemental magic and the basics of dark or light, or you can master a combination of elements listed above. You cannot learn both dark and light. Those are the limitations. Mastering a single area(dark/light/a combination of elemental) will make your magical attacks stronger than a person who knows basics.

No. You cannot master a single element and a classical magic, if you integrate at all you only get basics.

So Nash learning Dark in basic and then mastering Elemental Electricity and Fire is fine?

No. Only basics. I do this because those three are power houses. Plus no one will have the option to be learning elements in class except Kaya and Tallice until we reach the end of the week, where you can request a schedule change. Furthermore, I think I can safely say you aren't going to fully master anything in a week ._.

Oh I didn't mean now, I meant over all at Nash's time at the academy in magic. He's in basic magic now, but later will be in a more advanced magic class, right?

Yes. IRP time one week, you may request schedule change. But a student cannot fully master both elemental and classical, even if s/he only learns one element.

This makes sense to me. No problem. Nash will just stick to Dark magic then. It seems more broad, and he's more on the Arcana fighter side anyway so it doesn't much matter. As far as starting day #2, Gen do you want to lead off? I think we can just do a skip ahead post with a lead in for tomorrow morning for classes.

It's Gen's RP, and he's the game master and in control of what's going on in it. Most serious RP's don't post by 1 line and then go on from there. It's like Kaya said, more fluff, more description. More is better.
