In a dark room somewhere above the commotion going on in the kitchen, Grisli awakes. "This is not my cave," he thinks. His breathing grows rapid and his heart starts to pound. "Where am I?"
He starts to get scared but hasn't seen anyone else yet. His mind is a bit foggy about where he had been earlier. The last thing he could remember was falling asleep in his cave. He stands. A piece of wallpaper is hanging loosely from the decaying walls. He peels at it idly. After looking away for a moment he turns back to notice the wallpaper hanging at the exact same angle as it had been. Curious.
