Kiss of Death

Danny watched, shrinking into a corner helplessly.  She was too familiar with the "Submit and survive" agenda.

"I hope you understand, that I have no real desire of being here. And I am only here upon orders. As far as what is going to happen, I must say I don't exactly care because it does not concern me..." the fox said in a droneish tone as he looked over his shoulder to see if anyone was approaching the four inside the cell before looking back to them.


"Please, just eat the food. And why are you so important?"

[Kaya]

*Cassandra growls and starts thinking fire and some of the purple begins to show in her fur. but she barily is able to continue because of a sharp pain in her head. she gasps and clutches at her head, groaning a bit.* "g-darned frickin serums!" *she hits the wall hard enough there is a small little popping noise and she quickly  holds her left hand.*

Danny glanced at Cassandra, concerned.  "They want to make a new breed, so they subject us to that torture to see what we do," she said quietly.

[tangletail]

Ryan's ear flicked lightly when the pop noise had finally reached him. He gave a half heartened glance to the woman before looking back to Danny. "A new species? Heh... that is quite pointless with serums only. Your simply wasting time sticking needles into others for no net." The fox commented as he rolled his eyes and leaned against he wall.


"Clearly this is something utterly foolish if you believe that mixing a few toxins together and," the fox stopped himself there and shook his head slowly. "A species is not something that can be created. A mutation yes, but not a species. I am under the classification of mutation."

[Kaya]

"they only take the strongest and take a lot of blood testing and .." Cassandra shudders. "the rest is horrid.. extremely horrid..."

[tangletail]

"It's not going to work..." was all Ryan had said to the girl as he adjusted himself against the wall. His eyes glew once more as he scanned over the woman's hand to access the damage before going back to normal. "Save yourself the grief and just commit suicide. A Mutation is one thing. But a whole 'nother species is impossible by unnatural means."

[Kaya]

*Cassandra sighs and turns away and looks at the wall* "you honestly dont think i havent tried that before...? if you stop eating they IV feed u. you try to harm yourself your put under constant supervision... it just dosnt work.... they even remove your nails if you are deemed a threat to yourself...." *she sighs and leans against the cold wall*

Danny played with her food, listening to the conversation.  Outside of the cell others, a human and rat furry, were heading their way.

Ryan's eyes flashed from a bright glow then to a dim one when he heard the presence of another. He glanced over his shoulder rather quickly to see if the incoming visitors were a threat or friendly.

[Kaya]

*Cassandra takes the moment of distraction to dart towards the door and slip out and runs right into the rat and human.* "oh s_it..."

[Shadis]

*Zerk snapped up as Cassandra fled outside. He quickly ran out of the room to catch her, sprinting towards her* [Kaya, you can decide if he catches you]
 
Back at the safe house:
 
*After a good while of mouring and respecting his fallen friend, Sir Zackary cremated Tristen and honorable donned his bow and arrows. He adjusted some furnature and stored the many supplies he was carrying. He then shiften through the supplies within the camp and grabbed a few healing supplies and adrenalin shots. He cleaned and sharpened his sword, and left with Rick. He said not a word the entire time. Him and Rick traveled for a while until they were near the Hunter's base. He drew Tristen's white steel bow and notched an arrow. Finally, he said,* "Your a sneaker Rick. The plan is simple. We sneak about, thinning the guard's ranks. Once their rangers are all down and their forces thinned, we assualt it head on, find and resque Cassandra and Danny, then leave. They may have other prisoners, so save them if you can. But Cassandra and Danny must get out alive. If I dont make it, don't hesitate to leave me. So long as they get out, I will die happy." *With that, he began to cround forward, getting into postion to shoot a hunter archer.* 

[Kaya]

*Cassandra yells and kicks as Zerk (i keep wanting to call him Zeak sorry if i do..)  Grabs her* Let me go!!

[Shadis]

*To everyone's surprise, Zerk releases Cassandra. He moans falls on the ground in immense pain. Cassandra hit him in a good spot...* [Nice kick  , he deserved that]

Ryan only held a grimace over his face as he watched the girl escape, and kick the massive man in the groin. He slowly raised his hand, aiming an open palm at the girl as he begins to hum idily to himself in his concentration. Quickly, a fluid like energy aura began to flow out of his body as a bright light errupted from the very ground he was standing on. "Please do not resist," he sighed softly as a sphere of green energy materialized over head. Shortly he he flicked his hand to the side gracefully causing the sphere of energy over head shot downwards towards the woman's feet. If it hits successfully a mass of vines would spawn from the ground underneath Cassandra and ensnare her in it's grasp.
