Kiss of Death

[Kaya]

*Cassandra claws madly at the vines ensnaring her feet and legs. She yells in frustration.*

[Shadis]

*Zerk lies on the floor still, cursing Cassandra with every foul word in existance.*
 
*Zack gets into position. Aiming Tristen's bow, he aims at a human hunter archer standing on a poorly constructed metal tower. He says a silent prayer as he lets the arrow fly, straight into the hunter's head and dropping him to the ground with a sound. Zack then quickly notches another arrow and sneaks towards another hunter.*

[Kaya]

*the rat walks over to Zerk* Rat: "we have seen the other two around the border a while ago... shall we draw them in with the bait and finish the preparations of the trap?"

While she was preoccupied the fox slowly made his way closer to the woman, his right hand gracefully waving in a circle overhead readying another spell. However he came to a dead motionless hault as he glances off behind himself to some odd distance curiously, as if something was bothering him from another plane. His eyes flickered between several different colors before returning his sights back to the girl with a feeling of worry that was quickly disposed of in only a few seconds.


He sighed once and dropped his hand beside himself disengaging the spell he had began to charge. "I told you I must keep you on good behavior..." he reminded her before flicking his tail.  "Now... will you submit peacefully? Or will I have to poison you..."

[Kaya]

*Cassandra swipes out and her hand bairly misses Rayan's face. * " I will NOT submit! "  (my character well dosn't like to listen unless someone she knows is in danger... Hint Hint.. )

[Cifero Windtail]

"Mind if I join in?"
Suddenly, Rick came out of nowhere, tripped up Zerk and the rat with his staff, then pinned the kid against the wall.
"Sorry," he said, "but they'll be leaving now." He stared intently into the boy's eyes. "Hmm... and you're coming."
He noticed the rat and Zerk had begun to got back up, so he whacked the rat over the head and nailed Zerk in the lower areas. The bull crumpled and fell to the ground, whimpering and clutching at his groin.
"Here," he said, handing Cassandra her clothes and weapons. "You forgot them when you two went out to forage. Zack's here too."

The fox began to scratch his chin, before glancing over his shoulder to Danny. His face remained fern, but if it wasn't for his professionalism a large grin would have manifested across his face. He looked back to the woman with both brows lowered in a clear sign of ignorance before taking a single step back.


"One who wishes not to live, and the other clings to life by a thread. There has been a saying that life doesn't start with you..." he trailed off as he began to charge another spell and looked into the direction of Danny. The very atmosphere around everyone began to compress as a dark purple aura flowed from Ryan's body. Slowly, if anyone was paying attention, everyone's clothing began to tug towards a single point leading straight to Danny. The area around danny began to grow brighter and more warped as he he continuned his concentraion. "But your world can very well end with you," he finished darkly, his intentions now very clear that he would probably crush the poor girl in the cell into an indefinate point.  "They say that... being crushed is a very brief but a deathly painful experience. If death is not immediate, you can feel all your organs fail instantaneously until it hits you. Then pop..."

[Kaya]

*Cassandra stops.* "don't you dare hurt her...."

[Cifero Windtail]

"Don't worry. I'll handle it."
Rick rushed into the cell and switched places with Danny right before the spell activated.
 
The pain that Rick truly felt is indescribable, but all in all, it hurt like heck. But when it was over, Rick knew that he was still alive. He got up off the floor, much to the surprise of the fox.
 
"Nice try," the feline said, brushing a speck of dust from his sleeve.

[tangletail]

"I am only doing what my master had told me to do for the people who paid for my services..." he commented, as he looked back to Cassandra with an emotionless expression. "Now..." he began, fighting back a grimace from a searing migrain he was now experiencing. Various images had coursed through his head at this point as his human instincts began to combat and reject what was considered as breaking all logical bounds. "... I will hurt her because I am only doing what it takes. I can also harm you... but that will make no behavioral difference will it?" His expression remained deadened as he looked back to Danny "Now... I want the both of you to behave. But you don't want to. I want to kill her. But you don't want her hurt. So... it seems we are at a impasse... maybe we can compromise?"

[Cifero Windtail]

"Yes we can," Rick said. "You come with us, and I promise I'll find a way to cleanse your mind of the evil influence that's poisoning it. Deal?" 

[Kaya]

*quietly*  Rick... don't... *Cassandra glances at danny and rick then to Rylan.* I....I..You have to promise not to hurt them..." *she looks pleadingly to Rylan. * Please dont hurt them.. I will behave.."

[tangletail]

The spell was soon dropped slowly as the fox offered her a smile, "Good... we have come to an understanding. I promise as long as you can keep your behavior in check," he said crossing his heart before turning around to walk back to the cell. His body began to tremble lightly now, but barely notice able as his ears began to oscilate randomly. The voices were once again coming back to him now. 'Oh lovely," Ryan thought to himself as his left eye began to twitch 'My brother was right... I'd rather not risk his signature over my own...'


He looked over his shoulder, doing his best to straighten up as if nothing was bothering him anymore "Are you coming hun?"

[Kaya]

*Cassandra follows sadly, glancing over her shoulder her last bit of fight seeming to disappear. *

Danny shook in the corner, her ankles still bound and arms wrapped around her.  "Don't hurt her!"  She couldn't think of anything else to say, fighting against the binds.
