Danny stepped between them.  "Zack, now isn't the time.  I know, I'm scared, you're scared, Rick's probably scared, I know.  But Cassandra's missing, and if we don't start running, with or without this fox, we'll be experiments or worse.  Please, put it off till it's safe," she said, still shaking.  Danny's nerves were shot normally.  Being in the situation they were, she doubted she'd ever get them fixed.

[Cifero Windtail]

"Um... okay, I don't know who the hell Kaya is," Rick said, "but Danny's right. If Cass told us to leave, we should leave. I know it's sad... I miss her as well, but don't worry, we'll meet again. I remember her scent. I'll know if she's been somewhere or not." He grabbed Danny by the shoulders. "Trust me... she wouldn't want us to get captured."
Rick went over to the fox and put him in a fireman's carry. "We'd better get out of here," he said.

Hunters were thundering down the hall, yelling to trap them before the group left.  "Come on!"  Danny ran down the way she'd come, hoping she'd get it right.

Ryan blinked slightly as he was quickly scooped up onto Rick's shoulder. His facial expression held an obvious mix of confusion and something of great epiphany. He began to squirm lightly, not quite liking the idea of being carried by someone he had just met and had managed to raise his head to look ahead of the group. He heard the voices and even saw the shadows of the men approaching from just down the hall, and quickly dropped his resistance.


His eyes flashed to a now blue-esque glow as he scans the hallways ahead. His spell had clouded his own vision, blotching out all traces of light, but illuminated the presence of other's in a dim glow upon every single sound created. "Make a left on the up coming corridor," he instructed solemnly as his eyes darted to the right, his body now begining to tremble as he examine's the corridor's even further."there are less guards coming from that direction... these "hunters" you call are not the most organized group you will ever meet."

"Um... okay," Rick said, taking a left. The fox's words proved to be true...
 
Although he probably hadn't guessed that Zerk was one of them.
 
"Um... I believe this is your department," the feline said as he looked at Zack.

[My name is Zack in this RP Aldrea, Im Shadis in the others    Also, Cifero, im confused as to what my department is  ]
 
*I sigh, realising that the fox had caught my bluff. My knowledge of Sed was not great enough to protect me from the attacks of a true master for more than a few fleeting moments. I calm my mind as the glowing dies down. I then turn and run with the group, sword at the ready. To Tangletail:* "Sigh, fine. I'd rather have you as an ally anyway. Since your not willingly working for them, we have no quarrel then." *I follow the group*
 
*As the group runs away from the rubble, A dark brown, tanned leather fist smashes out from the rubble*
 
[Zerk is still alive, but were not going to fight him anymore in this building. Expect to face him again later though]

[Character's name is Ryan]Ryan's eyes darted to Zack as he spoke to him, and gave him a small fidget of his lip as if he didn't care either way. He laid limply over Rick's shoulder's still wondering why on earth he is being carried if he was uninjured, or never exactly asked to be. "Not willingly is an overstatement. I am technically working with them willingly, but only by my owner's wishes," he informed the wolf as he looked back over his own shoulder to see what's going on in the front. "Also... put the pointy thing to use, and stab the hunters ahead will you?"


At this point, his body began to tremble more violently as the glow in his eyes started to flicker quite rapidly. Eventually it had gotten to the point where his trembling had became visible all. "Seriously... I mean we will be heading into them very shortly," he spoke in utter incomprehensible gibberish before finally collapsing. Now he hung limply on Rick as a small trail of blood had began to well out of his ears and nostril. He could have easily be mistaken to be dead if it wasn't for the constant rise and fall of his back signaling he was still breathing.

Danny stayed close.  Outside, a young woman waited, watching for the rest the group.  Red fur stood out vividly against the grey of the rubble and trees, bushy tail slowly going back and forth.

[Kaya]

Cassandra is helping Zerk out of the rubble and winces. "I-I'm sorry sir.... I shouldn't have tried t-to leave.."

^(*spittake* WHAT THE FRACK?!)
"Oh wait, that's just a normal bull," Rick said. "Never mind."
The feline drew his knife and stabbed a charging hunter in the neck.
 
As he pulled it out Rick looked out a window nearby...
And saw something REALLY unexpected.
What in blazes...? he thought, watching as the other girl helped Zerk out of the rubble. The feline, totally confused, decided to keep silent and continue fighting.
 
(Just adding suspense and mystery...)

[Shadis]

*Zerk struggled out fo the rubble. He still had a few patches of black fur, but he was mostly hairless, his still living hide tanned a drak brown from the fire. He was oviously in much pain. On his chest was the nordic fire rune Zack had used on him. It was branded into his chest. One of his horns was snapped off at the middle, leaveing it half the normal length. His body was covered with painfully caurerized scars. Without saying a word to Cassandra or anyone, he fished out his hammer and fled the scene.*
 
[Zerk is currently out of this scene. Kaya can follow him and talk to him, but as for everyone else, Zerk is currently gone. Kaya, please PM me if u want me to follow any background story between Zerk and Cassandra]
 
*Zack ran ahead and drove his sword into the back of an unsuspecting hunter. Shortly after that one hit the ground, another hunter charged Zack with duel butcher knives. Zack fought the hunter for a few moments, blocking his strikes and counter attacking, until an opening presented its self. He drove his sword deep into the neck of the hunter, then thrust him to the ground. Zack then turned just in time to see a third hunter draw his hand back to throw a throwing spear at him. Immediatly, Zack stared at the ground benieth the hunter and shouted a brief phrase in nordic. Suddenly, a purple rune symbol appeared beneith the hunter's feet. A small cyclone of dark purple energy emmitted from the rune and pulled the hunter to the ground. He fell to his knees and hands, on an 'all fours' position, on the ground and couldn't move them or get back up. His spear clanged to the ground. Zack then turned to Rick,* "THAT is a rune of Heimdall my friend."

"Ahh... *gulp* I see..." Rick said, glad that the rune hadn't been used on him when they had first met.

[Kaya]

Cassandra hurried after Zerk and felt a twinge of regret for leaving the others but it quickly passes as she follows him.

The wolf, a female, glanced behind her, panicing as several huntersrushed toward her.  She ran toward the group.  "Please, oh stars, HELP!!!!"
 
Danny ducked and dodged away from the Hunters, too scared to attack.
