Ryan glanced down to his shoulder as it was grabbed before looking up to see what the other was trying to show him. "Why yes, it is a sword... I don't see anything exciting about it. Just try not to poke your eye out in the future if you wish to keep it sir."

[Shadis]

*The group reaches the boarded up entrence to the safe house. Using the same rune as before, I activate the entrance. I then hold Lucinda's paw tightly.* "Alright gang, This is the entrance. Cifero can vouch that Im not crazy. Brace yourself and follow me!" *I then run through the door as if it wasn't their, pulling Lucinda with me.*
 
*Zerk snorts* "A wise choice then." *The two get inside the base and are quickly greeted by a very surprised hunter who is clearly incharge of this base. Zerk explanes all that had happened to the leader. He is then brought to the medical bay for treatment of his multiple wounds. The leader of the hunters then turns to Cassandra.*
 
[Kaya and Aldrea, Unless you want me to, I wont be making the unnamed "Hunter leader" A controlled character. His or her species and gender can also be anything you want, but Im thinking an anthro Dragon as the main enemy would be pretty epic. eather way, Kaya when u talk to him/her, could you control your character and him/her? I dont know the nature of you conversations so you will have to control that.]

Lucinda squeaked in surprise at the tug, pulling close to Zack on instinct.  When she came to her senses, she took a step back, glancing up at him.  Her ears were hot from embarrassment.  "Sorry!  I-I didn't mean to crowd you..." she said as she looked away.  She sighed.  "I escaped not a week ago.  I had no clue where to go but into the city, so I stayed close."
 
Danny had lagged far behind.  The wind was picking up, ice beginning to fall and prickle at their skin.

[Cifero Windtail]

"This is no mere blade... this is The Sword of Osiris," Rick said. "Sphinx's legendary sword. It must be a gift to compensate for the staff I lost earlier." He looked up at the sky. "Thank you, sir," he whispered. He hid the sword hilt among his robes and picked up Ryan again.
"Sorry about this," Rick said, "but we've got to catch up!"
 
 
Rick ran up to the group and put Ryan down.
"So where are we going?"

The fox could only role his eyes at the feline's facination over a sword. "It's a sword, sir. Be it lengendary or not, it's use is only as good as the use behind it's wielder. Further more, these so called magic sword wielding hero's foolish swung them about thinking they needed no real skill to use such a thing, only to be struck down by an arrow, or some normal weapon. Keep this in mind," the fox criticized rather harshly as he was being carried once again.

[Cifero Windtail]

Rick satred at the fox blankly.
"I know that," he said. "I'm just glad that I have some confermation regarding the identity of the one who brought me back from the dead. And don't worry, I'm not one of those guys."

[tangletail]

"So you say," the fox remarked as he now took a seat on the ground. His ears flicking with some hint of annoyance, clearly the fox had no real interest in any form of weapons created by man or god.

[Kaya]

Alen looked at he girl that had caused his group, and many others so much trouble. "You child have been a thorn in everyone's side who was put in charge of housing you.... You have caused some major problems and have gotten many of my best hunters killed. This Will. Not. Be. Tolerated. The only reason you are still alive is because My boss told me to keep it that way. But if you so much as step one single foot out of line again.... I  will make your death look like it was an accident of some sorts. I know you came back freely but you are NOT our equal. You Will follow the rules, and Respect, everyone. Did I make my self clear child?" Alen states rather harshly.


Cassandra flinches and bites back a retort. "I...I.. Yes you have made your self clear sir... You will have my full and complete cooperation for only two things.. I...I wish not to be drugged inbetween experiments sir... I promise you i will not cause harm to anyone..... and..and I would like to be taught h-how to control my powers..." She states Timidly mentally barfing at how helpless she sounds. "..B-but only if..if that is alright with you sir..."


Alen looks at Cassandra shaking and does not even falter in his answer. "No. You will not be given that privlage until you prove your self. You will be drugged to the extent of not being able to use your powers but that is all, as i said, until you prove yourself." To one of the other hunters "get her out of here and make sure you take care with this one. She's known to escape." He turns back to Cassandra, "Get out of my sight, go with him to your room."


Cassandra hangs her head and lays back her ears and is fighting the urge to yell, and fight back. She goes with the hunter quietly.

[Cifero Windtail]

"So," Rick said, absentmindedly grasping his left shoulder, "where are we going?"

[Cifero, were in the safehouse I last posted about. Im going to continue the post as if we all entered.]
 
*I chuckle to Lucinda* "Thats quiet alright Miss. And Your safe with us, so long as you don't go running off..." *My voice trails off as I remember Cassandra with saddness. The group eneters the safehouse as the blizzard begins again outside. I dispell the enchantment on the door, blocking any others from entering. I then turn to the group. The bodies are gone and the tables back up, but it is still quiet a mess* "Sorry for the mess in here. I didn't have much to to pick up. The place was ransaced and my friend Sir Tristain was slain amongst several hunters. I have taken care of them..." *I look away, saddened still.* "Ah hemh, We should tend to our wounds and eat something while we can. The water still runs since we are on a well and The ice box is full of preserved venison. Help yourselves."

[Aldrea945]

Danny smiled.  "Zack, would you like me to continue cleaning?"
 
Lucinda looked up at him.  "You are wonderfully kind Sir Vann.  Would you mind helping me prepare some venison?" she asked innocently, taking his hand in hers.

[Shadis]

*Sir Vann blushed abit when Lucinda touched his paw.* "Certainly, but could we tend to my left arm first? I think something broke when Zerk headbutted me." *To Danny* "You can if you want to, but We're leaving tomorrow morning and won't be returning for a long time, If ever."

[Aldrea945]

Danny nodded.  "Would you like me to do your arm?  I've had quite a bit of experience with me own injuries."  Lucinda's grip tightened slightly.
 
Lucinda started pulling him toward the other room.  "Of course I'll help you!  Come here and sit and we'll get you all patched up."

[Shadis]

*Trying to hide a small smile, Vann sat down and allowed the others to begin tending to his arm.* "Thank you guys, your too kind."

[Kaya]

Cassandra lays on her bed staring at the ceiling. "I miss all of you guys so much......I should never had come back."
