I got my tail two weeks ago - my parents actually were there when I bought it. As soon as I got it, I hooked it onto my overcoat. My mom chuckled and took a picture. When I took my coat off, I switched the tail over to my belt loop. No one has said anything, and I've been wearing it around the house for these last two weeks. I get that "ghost tail" feeling when I'm not wearing it - either actually feeling it's weight, or sweeping behind my legs to brush it aside so I don't sit on it even though it's not there.
