Well my situation changed a lot last night when he came into my room while i was wearing it and reading. he asked me why i was wearing it if any one gave it to me, if i was goth, and why i was wearing it agian. i just kinda brushed off the questions. he must have thought it was a joke. he made me take it off but he let me keep it so idk what im gonna do now. i didnt bother to tell him im a furry. he should know cuz my signitare on my phone is furry pride.

that's why I don't wear any furry gear while people are home. I have an extremely obnoxious and nosy family so I don't bother doing that stuff around the house because they'll just act all angry about it and giggle about it behind my back. Outside of the house I really don't care because most of my friends know I'm weird XD

Not crazy at all!

Its the same thing as if someone likes to wear their favorite bracelets, shirts, hell, even bring their favorite stuffed animal.

So no, your not crazy.

I feel the same way. c:

Stick it in the washing machine if it is a nylon collar. If it's leather, it would be like killing it. Since water is bad for leather so I wouldn't dump it into water. I washed my nylon collars while I wear them when I shower, after that I take it off and there, it's clean, unless you want to clean it more by adding detergent. For leather collars, use leather conditioner or use a damp cloth wipe it. I haven't cleaned my leather one since I got it.

my leather collar is two colored, brown on one side black on the other(is made from reversible belt) i always wear the brown side on the outside, i havent ever cleaned mine either,(though i have sprayed  2 or 3 times with leather waterproofing chemical) lets just say my sweat has really taken its toll on the black side(i never take it off, execpt when i swim or shower, never otherwise)

Wow, everytime there is a thread about collars like this one, it makes people want to wear one, wear it more often or get a new one.

i have to say that at school i feel more comfortable wearing my collar in some classes then others. art class for example is fine when there isnt a substitute. when there is all any one ever talks about is why am i wearing it. taday at lunch a kid, decided that he would grab my collar, and look at my tag and make fun of me. when i grabbed his hand and pushed him back. :?  what the duce?!?!

You could always say to them "why not" or "why can't I? " something along those lines.
