*Returns to Boulder Rolling Down The Mountain.

[Cifero Windtail]

*SIGH* Fine. Now can we just duel normally? My shoulder just healed, and I don't want to screw it up again.

[Otebon Albrecht]

*Continuing the left, right, left slashes that characterized the style. Otebon laughed.


"But the greater portion of swordsmanship is fighting with the body. For example: this!"


*When his sword connected with Cifero's saber, Otebon allowed it to travel the length of the blade, escorting his body into Cifero's reach. His left hand moved forward in a quick jab to Cifero's ribs.

[Cifero Windtail]

*ingores the blow and claws at Otebon's chest with his free hand.*

[Otebon Albrecht]

*Quickly disengages with Cifero to inspect his coat. It had long scratches that tore right though.


"Now that wasn't very nice Cifero. I liked this jacket..."


*Swiftly takes the jacket off and throws it towards Cifero's dropped katana. He pulls out a few Shuriken from a back pocket and holds them in the spaces of his left hand.


"Happy New Year to you too."


*Otebon throws the shuriken as he charges once more.

Heh heh. Sorry. I'll get it fixed, I know a good tailor, and... uh-oh...
*Quickly sheaths his sabre and pulls out a long pair of kunai, which he uses to deflect the shuriken.*
Good thing that I know Shurikenjitsu...

[Otebon Albrecht]

*Brings his left hand forward and returns to Thorn in The Rosebush. The blade flashes towards Cifero's chest. As his left leaves the blade, he reached back and drew a few more Shuriken.

[Cifero Windtail]

*Dodges the strike*
Oh, no you don't!
*tosses a knuckle knife at Otebon's left hand, knocking the many shuriken away.*

[Otebon Albrecht]

*swipes the sword back and forth after Cifero dodges away in Serpent Writhing to discourage a counter attack and takes a quick movement to the left. Drops the shuriken as the knuckle knife pierces the top of his left hand. Ignoring the pain in his hand, he presses the attack with a serie of strikes beginning with Courtier Taps His Fan and continuing with Three Pronged Lightning.


"Let's check your speed work shall we Cif!"

*goes into overdrive, working fast to parry the incoming attacks*
Well, you've definitely gotten muuuch faster!

[Otebon Albrecht]

"Thanks, I've been working on it."


*Three Pronged Lightning turned into Pecking Ravens, a series of small but quick strikes designed to bleed an opponent out.

[Cifero Windtail]

*Gets stabbed repeatedly and loses one of the knives.*
AGGH!
*Falls back, sheathing the remaining knife and gripping his left forearm.*
Okay, your swordsmanship has gotten a lot faster. But how's your knifework?
*Releases his arm and pulls a survival knife from his boot, holding it in a ready position.*

"I'd say sufficient, but the true test is experience, is it not?"


*Disengages and sheathes the Chinese Straight Blade with a flourish reminiscent of Solar Flare. Draws a singled edged blade curved like the talon of an eagle and holds it in an ice-pick grip.


"With your mentioning of dirty tricks, why move to knives? This fighting is the most maniacal and 'dirty' there is?

[Cifero Windtail]

"No... that would be gunplay."
*glares at him in anger, the makeup on his face making the expression even more frightening (I'm wearing Crow makeup)*
"You would dare insult knives? Fine then. Come at me."

[Otebon Albrecht]

"It's not an insult if it's true."



*Holds the knife in his right hand but extends his left hand, palm towards himself as he slowly approaches Cifero. As he comes close, he makes a passing slash at Cifero's injured shoulder.
