"Fine then," Otebon says as he lowers himself into a crouch. "Let's continue shall we."


Throwing his arms backwards, Otebon charges quick and low across the ground, as though he were the shadow of a hunting bird. He approaches quickly and silently over the heavily compacted ground. Nearing Cifero, he spins his sais and executes a uppercutting strike while simultaneously performing a swipe at Cifero's feet.

[Cifero Windtail]

*Parries both at the same time, the uppercut with his mouth sai and the swipe with his left hand sai.*

(   You know that would either break your teeth at worst and at the very least cause significant damage, right?  )


Seeing his opponent bent over in such an awkward position to perform a double block, Otebon keeps moving and ends up crouched underneath his opponent. He throws his back upward and launches Cifero into the air.

[Cifero Windtail]

(Not really... I mean, Zolo does it, right? And I cushioned the hilt first.)
*Slams into a tree, miraculously still holding all of his sais.*
Ow... fracking sneak attack...
*Gets up and runs at Otebon, then begins making a series of well-aimed swipes at random parts of the wolf's body.*

Otebon smiles as Cifero hits the tree. He stays low, decreasing the space he has to defend and quickly works to defend himself against Cifero's attacks. He slowly retreats under the power of the onslaught.

One Piece Opening (English)
(This should answer both questions.)

*Keeps up his onslaught.*

(DAMN, my heel is itchy!)

(But... that's anime and the main character is a human-rubber-band...)


Otebon continues his defense and begins to find a pace to Cifero's actions. Every fighter, no matter how experienced, cannot be creative for ever and will soon fall to a rhythm. Otebon matches the rhythm to give himself a rest while maintaining the defense. He studies Cifero's attack style, looking for an opening.

(DID YOU NOT SEE THE GUY WITH THE SWORDS?!)

*Suddenly jumps up and kicks Otebon in the head, sending him flying.*

Rolling to decrease the impact and to increase the distance between the two of them, Otebon allows the sais to fall from his hands. He pushes his arms out and turns the controlled roll into a series of cartwheels which culminates into a wonderful flip.


"I see you still like to hit me in the head," Otebon says with a grimace as he grips his temple. "Not sure how I should feel about that... it's certainly effective..."


Otebon turned, completely uncaring of Cifero being armed behind him. They were far enough away that Otebon would hear if Cifero charged. Otebon turned towards the weapon rack and began to contemplate what weapon he wished to use next. It had been an interesting day; it deserved an interesting weapon.


Finally deciding on the kusarigama, Otebon retrieved and readied the weapon, chain end held lightly in his left hand and slowly swinging inches above the ground.

*Looks at the deadly weapon.*

Increasing the strength of the spin, the chain begins to make an eerie sound as the wind passed through the chain links. It almost sounds like the soft moaning of a ghost come to collect the souls of the fallen. The chain began to spin tightly at Otebon's left side, tightly held and a paradigm of chaos through control.


Otebon slowly begins to approach Cifero, allowing the sound of the weapon to take it's toll.


"Let's try something new Cif."



Otebon drastically increasing the spin, causing the moaning to increase in volume and become a wail. Otebon adjusted his hand and the chain flew towards Cifero.

[Cifero Windtail]

*He barely dodges it, then puts away his hand sais and takes up his mouth sai in his right hand.*
There... I suppose that we're a bit more even...
*he takes a chain from his glove and attatches it to the small hook on the sai's butt, then twirls it experimentally.*
Now.

[Otebon Albrecht]

Quickly withdrawing the metal weight and returning it to a spin, Otebon allows the chain to wrap around his body. With a subtle twist and spin, the chain shoots straight at Cifero once more, this time low and fast.


Otebon doesn't even watch the weight fly. In truth, his eyes are closed. His hands move independent of each other, but graceful controlling the chain, giving it a whirling spin.

*the weight almost hits his leg as he once again barely dodges the weight.*
 Well... maybe I should add my own weight then...
*pulls out a small weight and attaches another chain to it.*
There. NOW we're even...
*swings the weight and throws it towards Otebon.*

Throwing his hands wide and and bowing his head, Otebon gracefully dodges the weight while it soars inches above his head. His eyes remain closed as his left leg collapses underneath him and his torso rotates to the right. Wrapping Cifero's chain with his own right hand and the sangnagt there. Slipping the tip of the blade into one of the links, Otebon locks Cifero's chain tight.


Otebon's chain falls limp to the ground, but not for long. With his feet, Otebon turns and snaps a stray loop of the chain, withdrawing it.
