*Leaps into tree after Cifero, spear extended at length.


"Let's see you fight with that dagger at range!"

*Easily parries the spear*
You underestimate my dagger's abilities, Otebon!

*Allows spear to slide away from Cifero and strikes with the reverse end.


"And you the abilities of my spear"

[Cifero Windtail]

AGH!
*Winces as the butt of the spear whacks him in his injured shoulder, but manages to right himself before he falls.*
(Wait, why are we saying that our weapons have the abilities? We're the ones wielding them, and it's the proficiancy of the warrior that matters in the end.)
Good hit... good hit.
I think that it's time for me to change my tactics...
*Sheaths dagger and pulls out keyblade sword*

(Dunno Cifero. I've always read that the warrior wields the weapon, but the weapon performs the attack. Maybe I'm just strange)


*Presses the attack without waiting for Cifero to be ready.


"War waits for no one Cifero!"

*Parrries the attack with his sword at the last moment, then begins to duel Otebon*
You know, *CLANG* patience *CLASH* is a *SCHINK* virtue!

*Begins to back a bit off and allows the spear's length to give an advantage in the duel.


"No argument there Cifero..."


*Spins spear and begins a flurry of blows.


"But a winning effort begins with preparation!"

[Cifero Windtail]

*Whirls the sword around, barely managing to block the repeated strikes. He quickly flies to another tree top for a respite.*
You know (pant) that this is just (pant) practice, right?

[Otebon Albrecht]

"Yes Cifero, this is just practice."


*Jumps out of the tree and stands at a neutral readied position.


"But it's useless to practice at anything less than full without cause. I'm ready to go all out. Are You?"

[Cifero Windtail]

*Looks up at the sky for a second, then lowers both arms and looks at Otebon. He then raises his left arm (the one not holding the sword) and does the "bring it" movement like in the Matrix series.*

*Laughs.


"Oh, fine then."


*Lifts spear and charges Cifero.

[Cifero Windtail]

*Holds his ground until Otebon is only a few feet away... then his eyes snap open*

*Strikes Otebon's spear and causes a giant blast of blue flame to blow his opponent backwards*
