The king smirks at Vi's attempt to reverse the seal. He lifts his arms even as Shadis goes into him. A box of shadow appears around Vi. Everyone can still see her, but she cannot see out of it.
He then turned to Rasui, saying, "You would give me your power willingly? You are truly a worthy son..." He swirled his finger in the air, a steady stream of darkness following it. He completed the swirl, and it formed into a solid yin-yang symbol in the air before the seal. It suddenly compacts and implodes, sending a massive amount of darkness at the seal, but the light...

Leiton continued throwing his own strength against the sphere of darkness around his father's mind. It wasn't seeming to budge, but he wouldn't be give up without a fight. Why couldn't he ever have the power to defeat his own kind? Attu had never had a problem driving away Shadis. What was it that made Attu stronger than he? He had always been stronger, faster, smarter...
