What places have you been to and/or lived?

I won't bother naming my town since no one will have heard of it. 

I know the feeling. Anything outside the US and not in a capital and nobody knows of it. Though I hear it's nice there? No kilt jokes, promise.

Darn it, now I have Highlander stuck in my head... 

   my last name is norwegian: nordaker we still have a farm in norway and a stone bench thats 300 yrs old so im told,farm is supposed to be around valdez norway ...........

Well this is where I live (well just out of shot at the bottom of the hills) but for such a small country the landscape varies quite alot.

I've lived in Rancho Cucamonga, CA my whole life, but go to college in San Diego.

Ocean actually. I'm on an island and that's the main land with mountains in the far back of the photo.

I've visited many places though I always prefer home in the end.

I was born in Brisbane, QLD and lived there until I was 8, then moved to where I currently live, the Gold Coast. I've lived in two different houses here since I moved.

I've been to a few places throughout Australia, the furthest north being Rockhampton, QLD (I think) and furthest south being Hobart, TAS.

I've also been to Fiji, but that was when I was about 7, and what I remember, that holiday could have been a lot better... xP I got sick a lot.

Also been to Norfolk Island, which was a nice holiday, took a photo of what looks like a ghost or something there. It looks a bit too cartoonish though.

I guess I need to list the places I've been to huh? Let's see, I was born in Germany and have lived in Hawaii, France, Texas, and Missouri.

To start with, I never ventured outside Europe (it's no wonder I've been a British citizen all my life). Nevertheless, I lived in London for the first 22 years of my life and I now live in Teignmouth, over 200 miles west of London. To this day, I get to see my Mum in her current hometown, Whitstable, located 50 miles east of London from time to time.
On the other hand, I've visited many locations around England, Wales, and Scotland during my time plus the Isle of Man, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, and Italy.

I must confess curiosity Kaprika... Are you a military child? The only people I've seen move around like that were children of soldiers (like me...).
