*Relieved that our only healer was ok,* "Oh? Now isn't that a question. Yes, I know abit about wards. They are magical "seals" of sorts that mages can place over things. They are an anchantment you put over something that can have a multitude of affects. They function like a cause and affect, in a way. They won't do something untill a specific something happens. Lets say I were to place a ward on the ground ahead of you. It would be invisible to everyone except the one who placed it. Lets also say that I make this specific ward, say, entrap you in a shadow spell, which pulls you into the ground. It would only work if you yourself were to step on it. To anyone else, their's nothing their. But to you, the cause of the ward, the affect happens. They are like magical enchantments mages can place that do a specific purpose. Usually they protect or seal things, but they have a literally endless list of aplications, if one is intellegent and focused anough to cast one. I myself have placed countless wards on things over the years. Some of which are still active, even to this day. Ofcourse, I've forgotten most of them
But look at me ramble. Err, why do you ask?"
