[Shadis]

*Everyone in the room can feel themselves drawn to the book. Both mentally, spiritally, and most unsettling of all, physically. Thsi continues untill we are all but a few feet from the alter and the book. Everyone desparatly wants to reach out and take it for themselves. It is also why we were here in teh first place. The air is unsettlingly still.*

Danny reached out to grab the book, hoping to end this whole fiasco.  "Let's just get out of here!"

[Shadis]

"Wait, NO!" *I try to warn Danny, but am too late as he paws touch its sticky, red surface. she feels surges of energy pulse through her as warmth spread through her veins. She couldn't help but open the book, reveiling what seemed to be be another plane of existance inside. She could feel the book's dark power pulling her in. It promised untold power, strength, wisdom, wealth, knowledge, everything she could imagen. It shower her how to heal people with blood, and it was all but unbearable for her to take. I shout as I push her, knocking the foul book from her paws. Her mind was spinning as the connection was cut. Her head throbbed and she was unaware of her surroundings.* "Danny, Danny are you alright?!"

Joseph flinched as the book landed next to him. "Can I just stab the damn thing?" he said, drawing his sword. "I don't think we should finish our contract... this thing reeks of evil."

[Kaya]

Cassandra notices a dark red stone embeded in the wall where the book was and slowly walks past Shadis and Danny. "mmm what are thiese?"

Joseph looked up and widened his eyes. "My best guess? Bad news. Don't touch them." He goes over to try to prevent Cassandra feom reaching them.

Danny's head spun.  Balance thrown off, her feet slipped from under her.  A quiet moan slipped past her lips as her head hit the floor with a resounding crack.  She couldn't think.  Could hardly breathe.  Things spun past her.  'Real...  Blood... BREATHE DAMMIT!!!'  Had she been aware enough, she'd have laughed.  It was as nauseating as funny to her.  Nothing was real but that bloody book.  Nothing could be real...

no its fine aldrea.  ^ isnt used to our level of normality i like it alot, so now if there is any more discussion onthis move it to the ooc.. -..- )

Joseph looked down at Danny.
"What the heck...?"

cassandra looks back at danny. "mm you alright dearist? you know you are a little clutzy.." she smiles but it dosent sound right.

Joseph looked over at Cassandra.
"Wait a second... Who's been talking to you?"

[Kaya]

"you boy are a little behind in whats going on." she smiles before walking towards the stones on the wall. "now wich one is it......"

[Cifero Windtail]

"Nah, that was pretty much what I'd thought you planned to do."
Joseph tossed a bolo string, wrapping it around one of the wolf's wrists.

[Kaya]

Cassandra snarls and tugs hard on the rope and begins to pull at it with her other hand. "let me go. you're interfearing with the plans!" she hisses then smiles a bit. "oh what happened to your 'save the girl' complex. poor poor Danny is over there so dazed and confused with only Shadis over there to try and help.. hes so week from removing the bind that hes struggling as well. Keep holding onto me and possibly let both of them lapse into unconsciousness... mm that would not be good now would it?" Cassandras voice sounds nothing like her. With her week mind and being this close to scarlet, Scarlet has a firm enough of a grasp to control Cassandra.
 
 the voice.. the voice seams familiar to Joesph, its the same voice that everyone heard in the beginning and seemed to just disappear. Again the dull background buzzing was heard soft and faint, but definitely there.
