Katka gave a small shake of her head as though to clear her thoughts then she glanced back to Joseph with a glare. For a moment she said nothing, merely chewing the apple as she fixed him with a curious stare. Why does he press with his questions... So talkative, just like everyone else around here.

Despite her annoyance she couldn't help but give the smallest hint of a smile and she sighed. With a shrug of her shoulders she whispered back "Nothing of great importance. I merely wondered as to my competence as captain of the ship... Don's crew, while mostly good men, distrust me. And I do not blame them-" At the loud crack of the plate Katka stopped and glanced up to Cassandra, but made no move to answer her question.

Joseph nodded. "Alright..." He looked over at Cassandra in surprise. "Well, I'm not sure yet... but we'll need a plan."

Danny laughed lightly, holding up a long, half black rope.  "This is an intestine Sweety.  I'll show you some of the organs if you want," she said, rooting around for something.  It wasn't that the job didn't gross her out, but she didn't have much of a choice.  "Aha!"  She pulled up a half rotted heart.  Absolute GOLD.  She figured she'd have to grow another one.
 
Danny thanked Scarlet for the piles.  She picked a few things out for this body, leaving the others for the other body, including the heart, and got to work sewing them in.

Katka watched Joseph closely as he turned to Cassandra, taking another bite from her apple and frowning. She sighed and rubbed at her eyes in a way that suggested she wished to sleep, tail twitching, as she glanced away from Joseph and nodded to Cassandra. "A plan is indeed what you need, as I do not suggest just bumbling in without preparations... Regardless, you will have my airship to aid you however you wish to go about this."

Joseph nodded. "Thank you, Katka."

Katka nodded back curtly, swallowing her last mouthful of apple as she muttered. "However, of course, I will not put the ship in unnecessary danger... Don entrusted the Green Dragon to me, with the expectation that I can restore it to her former glory."

She leaned back in her chair and folded her arms across her chest. "Don't get me wrong, I wish to help. But the loss of such old airship, possibly the first and now only of its kind, is not a risk I am so willing to take..."  Tail flicking she glanced sheepishly to everyone around the table, sighed, and then pulled her plate back and continued eating slowly.

"We understand," Joseph said. "If it comes to that, feel free to get out of range."

[Kaya]

"yes i know we need a plan, the reason why i brought it up is so that we.." she mutters something, stands and walks away from the table leaving burned footprints in the ground benieth ger feet.

Scarlet smiled. it was nice having someone other than The Blooded arround. She was curious at how quickly this child had adapted to her srroundings. it took herself almost a year to get used to just being arounded the blooded. she moved closer to watch how danny worked. some small part of her mind was screaming at her to ignore her, to leave and distance herself from the girl. but her curisoty was getting the best of her at the moment.

Danny worked quietly on the body for another hour, finally sealling the skin around it.  Many of the parts had been in the room for this one, cutting time in half.  What she hadn't found could be added later, after this one, a female, was brought back.  She looked over at Scarlet, smiling.  "You can bring this one back.  She'll work for the time being.  Most of the parts are there, I'll just have to upgrade the last things as I find them."  She healed the body for a last time - even a half hour since the last full heal had let decay start on the eye, and blindness wasn't on the bill - and set clothes beside the body to put on.

Joseph stared at Cassandra's footprints. "Well... at least she doesn't have cold feet," he said with total seriousness.

[Shadis]

*Shadis frowned as Cassandra walked away, decideing it was best to let her cool off, no pun intened.* "The plan will be a simple one. Get stronger, upgrade, and take the fight to that monster before he kills us all! It may be a suicide mission, but it MUST be done! Katka, after your meal, could you investigate your crew and ship and see what upgrades The Green Dragon may need to survive this battle? Better armour, better cannons, more machien parts, larger crew, exetera. Mages, I need as much information as you have on The Bloodied. I've more or less forgotten most things since I faced him last. Joesph? You... Help too." *He shrugged at not being able ot think of something for him to do, but was confindent he would think of something. One of the Mages then led him to their library.*

*The three Blood Wraiths glided silently across the water, following the smoke trail of the airship. It was long since gone by now, but their senses were other worldly compaired to fur-kind's. On the distance, they saw the Isle of Vita, rapidly getting closer.*

Joseph nodded. "Alright." Standing, he offered a hand to Katka. "Perhaps I could help you investigate your crew?" he asked.

Katka kept eating for a while after Shadis had addressed her, cutting and eating her pork with a pace that showed she was enjoying the taste, although her brow furrowed in thought as she ate. Once the last mouthful had disappeared she put down her knife and fork and frowned. "You wish me to 'upgrade' the Green Dragon? An ancient and beautiful airship, that would take me years to restore under the best of conditions... Make it ready to fight, just like that?"

She sighed and glanced out of the window at the panorama of the Island, tail flicking. "It goes against everything I was taught at the school of Metalurgy, a rushed job like this. But I suppose we have no choice." Katka glanced up to Joseph when he spoke and stared at his proffered hand, hesitating. After a moment she took it and stood up with the smallest of smiles, tail flicking.

Turning to Shadis Katka nodded. "As you wish. I believe we have some spare hull sections that we were to sell for scrap." She clenched her fist and a gold shimmer glowed briefly, visible even through her leather gloves. "It will be a test of my strength, but I can attempt to meld them to the hull, to provide some additional armour... We shall see." With that she turned to the doors and walked away towards the where the ship was landed, not waiting to see whether Joseph was following or not, her tail swishing behind her.

Joseph followed silently, pondering what he had learned from observing her. She's strong, he thought as they descended towards the ship. Not just in character, either... I sense a magical aura around her. He looked over her figure. And she caries herself like a true captain... much like Don did, bless his poor old soul. The crat glanced at her face, saw the determination in her gaze. No doubt about it... she is the only captain who could ever partake in this mission.

"I have funds enough to purchase actual ship armour, pre-made. Shouldn't take too long to install. Neither would hauling some new cannons onto the ship. I'm trying to think of ways to preserve your ship, not ruin its integrity. But if you would rather it destroyed in the oncomeing battle..." *He left, hoping that would be enough to convince Katka to give it more thought. Once down in the Library, he began removing various tombs from the shelves and reading through them with feverish speed. The accompaning mage was quick to return the books and fetch him new ones, without even needing to ask which ones to grab.*
