Cassandra looks at the door and sets her hand on it. "Maybe it actually wast dangerous, " for some reason she smiles "it is quite beautiful in here though."

*DE glides almost silently through the air...only the light ruffle of feathers gave token to his presence....*


*Leaning on his spear, DE gazes at the dragon*


"A dragon?....how interesting..."

"Well, we came this far.  You guys can leave if you want to.  Shadis is probably right.  But I'm going to get it.  Everyone would get credited.  I just want to end this with something to look forward to.  You know, besides getting out of this hellhole," she said, looking around at the group.

Mawz leaned back against the wall and watched the rest of the group.
"I'm not leaving. This book and... whatever else lies beyond this door doesn't scare me."

[Shadis]

*Shadis frowned* "I made this ward, I can break it... But why? What was I fighting? The book! I put the book in there! I remember more! The Bloodletting is indeed beyond these doors, I was the one to hide it. It, it couldn't be destroyed by a creature of blood. That is right. And blood. So much blood... It was everywhere... so horrible... The screaming... my body twisting... Like I was a puppet... What does this all mean?" *By now, Shadis is loosing interest in opening the doors. He will need encouragment  * *Cassandra and Danny then heard that familier whisper in their minds.* /Yesss, you are close, so very close... i can feel you their. Get that ancient fool to open the door, he's the only one who can.../

Danny touched his shoulder.  "Shadis, please.  You can leave.  I promise we'll be careful, but you need to open it for us."  She smiled gently.  Her mind was searching for the owner of the voice, just repeating something over and over.
 
'We're coming.  We'll get you.  I promise.'
 
(I think he was refering to you.  Maybe.  Are you a Wolgan here?)

[Shadis]

[No, this time I am just a wolf. Oh wells.]
 
*Shadis shakes his head* "No, I need to know what was here. I, Im going in their with you. Stand back everyone, this process may get abit... explosive." *I stand in the center of the symbols I once made. I close my eyes and begin whispering soundless words into the air. The runes begin to glow purple*

good.. get it open.. then cut your plam and put it on the red stone then the black. They are on the wall behind the book. Do it quickly when the door opens!

Cassandra smiles and steps back quietly to herself "yes miss I will do as you ask."

[Shadis]

*The glowing intensifies on the floor. Slowly the dark purple energy begins to flow out from the ground and into Shadis. He closed his eyes and when he opened them, they were glowing purple. His runes began to glow purple as well. slowly but surely he pulls the energy out of the ward on the ground. He seems to struggle under its weight.*

[Cifero Windtail]

Joseph watched with growing curiousity... and dread.
"We shouldn't be doing this," he said. "This thing was sealed for a reason!"

[Shadis]

*The whole room begins to feel colder and colder as the energy is sucked out from it. The ward slowly lifts away. Clearly alot went into placing it*

Joseph trembled, and shifted his eyes left and right, grabbing the hilt of his sabre.
"I have a bad feeling about this..."
