No One is Perfect

So share some things about you that make you different; challenges, handicaps, etc.

I have:

• Asperger's Syndrome/social awkwardness.
• Eczema (skin disease) around the sides of my nose only.
• Psoriasis (another skin disease) in my scalp.
• Slow processing speed (meaning it takes me a long time to learn and understand things sometimes).
• I have mild scoliosis.
• I'm about 40-50 lbs. under-weight and can't put weight on me for my life no matter what.
• OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I actually have my current job because of this.

Overall I can't really complain since nothing stops me being me.

-A heart problem I can't remember the name of. (my doctor accused me of burying my head in the sand about the subject)  A genetic thing.
-Awful eyesight, I mean really bad.
-I'm in the same boat as you concering the weight thing. Can't seem to bulk up.
-I easily lose conifidence in myself.

Mild case of OCD, but who doesn't have at least a touch of OCD these days.

Sometimes a bit socially awkward. Well, okay. Very socially awkward , most of the time.

Though I never got diagnosed for it, I suffer from chronic depression and I also have trouble getting my thoughts explained clearly so that everyone can fully understand my ideas

If you don't mind me asking, what is your job?

I'm basically just quality control, inspecting things and making sure they have no defects or they look ok and then I decide to pass or reject them. It requires a good eye which is where my OCD comes in because I am very detail-oriented and the littlest things can bug me.

I don't even have any self-esteem or confidence to begin with.

Possible social anxiety. I'm going to talk to a campus counselor next time I have to go up there for class to see what they think before I commit to talking to a paid professional.

I also have Aspergers and social anxiety along with DIAGNOSED chronic depression (Those who don't believe me I'll be happy to show you the medication I take for it), I'm waaaay overweight and I sometimes have night terrors.

I may not be perfect, but know what? I myself, and others love me, so I'm happy either way  .

• My lungs are so weak after multiple pneumonias I should be dead without asthma treatment, but I refused it. So far so good.
• My teeth require a lot of care. A lot.
• I have to focus to say anything or I just won't be understandable - by default, I'm shaping my mouth wrong.
• Undiagnosed OCD about being unambiguous (which probably helps with my science career a bit). Undiagnosed decade-long depression. Undiagnosed social anxiety. It's all undiagnosed because I'm too scared of psychologists after an event not long before falling into said depression involving a psychologist.
• Meat allergy. Undiagnosed (and therefore the actual allergen remaining unknown) because it was considered "a phase" at the time. It was over 15 years ago.
• I hate my body and for very long I treated it like crap. Recently I came to my senses and realized it won't really do anything good; so, overweight, but working on it with measurable effects.
• Therianthropy is killing me. (Species dysphoria & dysmorphia.)
• I was certified not insane at age 7/8, so it seems okay until one notices my parents needed a professional opinion to be sure. Everything bizarre was considered "a phase" and since it isn't I often doubt the accuracy of said opinion.

• Hydrocepulis (have no idea how to spell it, short version I'm short sighted)

• Very poor balance
• Not officially diagnosed with OCD or anything, but I'd say I would have a bit, but then again, can't really judge

- Social Anxiety (although I'm slowly repairing that)
- And I have a very unique case of Tribomandibular Joint Disorder. It's only in the left side of my jaw, but the jaw itself has trapped the nerve that leads to my left eyelid, weakening it greatly. In short, in any instance I move my jaw, my eyelid opens up, sometimes further than what's physically possible. I like it, but suffice to say people like to stare while I'm eating
-Also, if I push my tongue up against the roof of my mouth, my right eye twists clockwise o.o;

-Chronic depression.
-Excema (in my fingers, acts up around summer and my fingers split open. Rather unnatractive and painful. Not to mention the inevitable infections )
-Extremely combative. Seems managable but really, it poses a problem. I just want to tear people apart... Sometimes for no reason. Been in therapy for a long time to keep me from doing it, too. To the point of being murderous sometimes.
-Insomniac. I just dont get tired.
-Not quite a "Bulk" problem, my years of weight training have ensured that I'm good on that end but I dont eat much and apparently I'm usually "malnurished and dehydrated" if my doc is to be believed.

Hmm... I am noticing a pattern with all the Aspergers around here.

-Mild scolosis, nothing too bad.
-Poor eyesight, I wear glasses and can't see two feet in front of me.
-Selective memory, I forget things often unless it is brought up.
-Extremely high metabolism, thank God I can eat ALL the foods!
-Double Jointed, I can twist my arm 360 degrees AND bend it without breaking.
-Alcohol Allergy/Sensitivity, I can't drink more than a certain amount or I'll die from poisoning, avoid ALL the beers!
