Thanks Serpington.  It really does help others adjust and sets a good example.  It's really just foreshadowing, and Chevok's Gun, to help ready others.
 
As a note, Rachel doesn't carry any weapons except a two inch knife in her bag.  Mostly just for distraction injuries.

Cif, I'm not going to change the post, simply because it's of very little consequence.  You have said it was a knife, so unless you change all of them to sword, I'm not going to change the terminology.  The pants-ing was purely to have a laugh.
 
As a note, where would you get a sword in 1800's England as a rouge?  Gyrus prefers a knife because he likes to leave people alive to "Play" with them.  A sword would really only be accessible from a museum.  Pirates had a sword from thievery, but it was mainly from merchant ships.  If it were your father's, was it something he stole?  Earned?
 
This is a bit minor, especially since the setting changed.  I just want to know.

Again, since Jackal didn't really know his father, he's not sure how his dad got the sword.

And I did change them all to sword. The shamshir is a type of sword.

Plus, it's an RP, so there doesn't really have to be a reason for everything to a certain point. Swords are among that point, ESPECIALLY in 1800 London, England, Furzania.

Plus, you would have totally lost your storyline if you took that knife. Gyrus wouldn't have anything of importance to Jackal, because the thing returns to its owner. (I put that knife in every RP I'm in... mostly. It's unloseable.)

Finally, I've been saying Furzania because you have to obey the first post. Even if you restarted it yourself, you can't make a major change like that. Just saying.
Oh, and to clear up the mithril shirt thing, I was going to mention it before hand, but things happened and I just had to put it in all of a sudden.
But seriously... the pantsing thing was WAY too far, and it was NOT funny. I would have preferred something like drawing a mustache on Jackal's face. The pantsing thing wasn't funny, it was crude and just out of character context. Plus, you can't really pants a guy who's lying on the floor.

I'm assuming that the author of the OCC has yet to show up since the rp was started, but only because I've skimmed through the serious rp pages and only seen one post in his OCC.

As for Cif, I'm not going to argue on this.  However, I will say this.  Cifero, you do NOT know Gyrus, do not presume to.  If it were out of character context, I WOULD KNOW.  Saying you know him better than I would deems me a fool, and I will not be a happy camper if you confirm that.
 
As well, that is a weak, stupid excuse.  If you had had the shirt at the beginning, you should have MENTIONED it in the narrative.  It doesn't matter what's going on if it's critical to a scene.  ARMOR IS CRITICAL. 
 
"Plus, it's an RP, so there doesn't really have to be a reason for everything to a certain point."  It's a serious roleplay.  No, not every little thing should have a point, but serious roleplays should read like books: Pointless crap bogs down the narrative like a truck tied to a rabbit.  It also nulifies your argument against the pants-ing.  It's a pointless, silly act I figured would add a bit of humor to an otherwise rather dark story.  It didn't, I'm not changing it.  Not to mention, I've gotten my pants off on the floor, so it is BEYOND possible.  End of discussion.

Cif lost his father's sword, and was promptly humilated because Gyrus is a jester as well as a 'superior' fighter.

Some form of punishment is occurring to danny(?) while cif is recovering from the battle, and serp brought cif into a green house so he wouldn't be left on the streets while he was recovering.

How far off am I?

Very well, though I do have something to say about pulling down the pants of cif's character: Your character was knocked unconscious because not only were you fighting someone who was probably an important character to the STORY, but you were also taking him lightly by letting him have the first strike and you were wielding a weapon, which is not part of your character's fighting style.

In summation, Gyrus thought you were a joke, and he didn't kill you because he didn't think you were a real threat. Prove him wrong the next time you meet, by using the style that is on your character sheet, rather than trying to play swordsman

Story: Max was once a researcher and historian of magic, writing down notes on new forms of magic, as well as the history through scrying and divination spells. Some time during his research, he heard a voice in his study that came from nobody and no single direction. This voice helped him with his research on magic, but it came at a price that he would only later realize he was paying.

He couldn't remember the passage of time from then to now, but he knows he stopped his research and was now trying to find some entity named "Darkness".

Weapon: His ironically named broadsword "Dragon Slayer"
 

Fighting Style: Fang of Terror, a supernatural and ancient style that uses full-strength swings that gain momentum when colliding against their opponent's defenses or flesh. Missed swings 'reset' the momentum and cause fatigue to the attacker. It can work with hand-to-hand, but is meant for two-handed weapons.

No such thing as cheating when you openly give a character first throw.  Nor is there any form of cheating in a street match.

Good.  You're starting to get the idea of how I feel when you decide you know more about something (Like a character) than someone who actually created said thing.  Or when you start outright ordering people to do something, like taking the pantsing out.
 
One question though, Aldrea... why did you decide to take off your pants while lying on the floor?

It's easier when I'm trying to read in the coolest area of the room, or getting in and out of a sleeping bag.

Yeah... Jackal's pretty chivalrous, so he usually gives his enemy the first strike, but even after he made his own strike, in his view Gyrus still cheated and is a giant bastard for stealing the only thing he had of his father's.
