The Middle Ages
« on: March 04, 2012, 06:17:46 PM »
My favorite period in history would have to be the middle ages. It is a time of glory, a time of wonder. A time when knights in shining armor battled atop towers and castles. A time of swords, socrcery, and magic. Tell me what is your favorite thing about the middle ages. Are there any medieval games or movies you like. This is the place for anything medieval.

haha :D

I own an internet clan which has the main theme of the medieval Europe (website here www.kingdomoflacertus.com (NOT ADVERTISING))

Our social Hierarchy is Europe, we have the king, the Duke (I'm the duke because the king is currently absent), the Lords, The Nobles, The Chevaliers and the members. Our leadership works the same way as a democratic monarchy, which means the members have an equal and fair say but it's the king (or the duke if the kings absent) who makes the decisions.

My favourite thing about Medieval times was the stories of King Aurthur and the Round table, we spent an entire term learning about them in a school I used to go to and it was very cool :P

My sister is totally into that.   She does jousting with her horses, part of a whole renaissance group herself.

I am hooked on Skyrim right now on my PS3.  Of course my character is a Khajiit  (feline race) for those who don't play.  I miss the detailed character editor and designer of Oblivion though.  which would let you really customize the character's appearance
