I'm sorry guys, but I don't know why you're all freaking out so badly. In fact, the only thing I'm "dissapointed" about with the ending is that Garrus told me we were going to get drinks together in heaven and there he was walking off the Normandy in the end (I played as fem shep and romanced Garrus). Although the ending wasn't favorable, it was exactly how it had to end. The point was that the Universe is in a constant cycle and by getting the crucible to the citadel had interrupted that cycle. At that point it was either let the reapers continue their cycle of resetting balance or create a new cycle based on your decision.
And don't even give me that nonsense about your decisions not mattering. Things you did back in Mass Effect 1 played heavily into the actual events of the game. In fact, I think the scene where you shoot Mordin in the back as he tries to cure the Genophage is the most perfect scene I've ever witnessed in a video game. The raw emotion of the entire game, the fact that you had to watch as people you had gotten to know so well were killed off, the fact that your decisions weighed heavily into the survival of an entire species, all of that was perfect.
So I for one will gladly say that I enjoyed the ending of Mass Effect 3. Don't get me wrong, Bioware and EA still suck (Whole DLC situation), but I think they did right with Mass Effect. In fact, I don't think they should release new DLC with a different ending.
