Technically you could; even without manipulating the fact that space and time are inextricably linked. When you do a flip, you travel through time forwards at a magnitude that equals the amount of time you were flipping. Oh, and time does exist, so Nyeh.

Why doesn't it exist? It is effectively another dimension to the world; albeit one we cannot travel along at will. If time didn't exist, then everything would happen at once; we would still be mid-big-bang.

time is a man made way of scheduling events according to the earth's positioning to the sun.
if time did exist then in that case, every 28th of march that is a Wednesday at this orbital position should happen at the same time.


another argument being that for time to exist there would have to be an infinite amount of "recordings" and further more they would all already have to exist.

Interesting word game, and indeed; the concept of time is man-made. But that man-made system is a way, not of saying here is here at this point, but of measuring how long did it take for this to happen after that. It is not a way of saying this is the 28th of march, and it is a wednesday, and we are at this orbital position; therefore this should happen. No, it is more a way of saying that, and asking how long ago it was since these exact circumstances last cropped up.

It is like meters and/or yards. They are man-made systems of saying how far something is from something else. Just like our concept of seconds; except on a different dimension.
