What kind of books/literature do you like to read? :)

im curious what kind of genres you guys read, and what, if anything, youre reading right now  im currently reading the hunger games. sorry for the awful grammar, my phone wont let me capitalize anything lol...

I dislike reading and only ever did it for school, but I would like to read horror probably. I've even written something in that genre once before, albeit it's a short story, and it's more or less following a preset theme and it's just a set of instructions and trials to obtain the Object.

I mostly read non-fiction.  Philosophy, history, political economy, etc.  Within the realm of fiction, my favorite movement is literary existentialism, e.g. Camus, Dostoevsky, etc.

I read fiction only, mostly fantasy with some sci-fi thrown in here or there. Terry Pratchett books, Halo novels, and the Skullduggery Pleasant series are some of my fave's.

I generally like fantasy as well, particularly older stuff like The Magic of Xanth series. I only read through the first two or three books, I think. I'd like to get my hands on the rest.

Fantasy, like Eragon, The hunters apprentice and Children of Armageddon.
Or Scifi, like Hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy, all star wars books, and the Assassins Creed book series.

I try to read whatever I can, but usually the thing that holds my attention will be anything with catchy sentences (Gregory Maguire and John Updike come to mind), something with a complicated plot (Like Jennifer Egan's A Visit from the Goon Squad, or Stephen King's It), something with a prominant Antagonist (A Series of Unfortunate Events), or something with well-woven dialogue (Toni Morrison).
