Not to say that designing a teleporter would be ethically ok, it's very interesting to think whether teleportation would be ok, you destroy yourself to create a new person; your old self dies, but your new self has all the memories and is an exact replica of your new self; therefore, your old self doesn't know he died, your new self doesn't know he was born and society doesn't know whether or this happened, so is teleportation, even if you destroy your old self, ok?
