Lets dig. *starts digging at the wall, but any earth that is moved gets back into position before he can swipe again; he resorts to magic and gets through it quite a way, but however far up he digs, there is more earth. He ends the spell before he passes out again and returns to the elevator. As he leaves the tunnel it reforms back into a solid wall.
