tail bleaching

i was wondering if i would be able to bleach a tail. it is a real animals tail that i bought from a flea market and i want it wight so it matches my fursona's colors. i cant find any tutorials online and oddly enough ive only found a ton of anime :P 
if anyone knows how to bleach a tail PLEASE HELP ME!!! X3

I'd be careful if you wear it in public. I used to wear a taxidermy fox tail before I realized the power of yarn. Some guy broke out in haves when he touched it. :U

I don't use hot glue, too expensive and liable to break. lol. And to be productive, I'm not sure you can bleech it selectively.
